The village is within easy driving distance of two the region’s most famous lakes: Windermere and Coniston Water, each offering a range of activities both on and off the water.
This contemporary cottage offers family-style accommodation across two floors. On arrival at the property, guests will first come to the porch which leads into the open-plan living space, the lounge/kitchen/diner. In this stylish room, they will find a dining table seating four, as well as comfortable seating in the lounge area, which has a TV and DVD. French windows from here lead out to the property’s patio garden. The kitchen area is separated from the dining area by a breakfast bar with high bar-style seats. The kitchen itself is well-equipped with an oven, hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. Stairs lead to the first-floor accommodation: two bedrooms and a bathroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and benefits from a contemporary en-suite shower room with WC. The other bedroom is an attractive twin room. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. There is a small freezer located under the stairs.
Outside, there is a secure enclosed patio garden to the rear of the property, which has garden furniture, making it a great place to relax with a drink or perhaps enjoy an alfresco meal.
