Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night break. The cottage is cosy and comfortable in a beautiful peaceful location. The orchard opposite the cottage was a safe place for our puppy to run around. So relaxing having the open fire at the end of a busy day.

This was a delightful cottage, in a quiet valley, with friendly and helpful hosts living next door. Next door to Grizedale you can bike from the door every day with great trails nearby. Lots of footpaths and bridlepaths for walkers too. A real getaway. A cosy and characterful cottage; it was a joy to return to every day and rest our legs by the fire.

Very quiet and beautiful cottage and location. Perfect to get away from reality for a while. Short but hilly walk to the nearest pub. We as family of two young children thought it was an ideal place for them to play. They spent alot of time by the shallow brook. Making the most of the fresh air! We would definatly go back.
