Very comfortable farmhouse in a beautiful setting. So many great walks from the doorstep & places to visit further afield. Hawkshead itself has much to offer & is just a short walk away. The house is very well equipped & tastefully furnished.

Stayed at Field head Farmhouse on lots of occasions over the past 7+ years & enjoyed the stay each time. We take our dogs & they love it too.Always been able to find new places to explore and walks to undertake. The property is close enough to the Outgate Inn to walk for a drink or meal & also far enough away from civilisation to allow relaxation iRead moref that's what you want. Rooms are big & comfy, lounge is spacious & the kitchen is to die for. Recommended & we'll probably be back next year! Hide

The fact that every room had an en-suite was very helpful and the cottage was comfortable and well equipped. It is part of a complex of cottages so that is worth bearing in mind if you value privacy and peace and quiet. We found a different walk to do everyday from the cottage and we loved the area.
