A three-mile drive along country lanes, will bring visitors to the shores of Lake Windermere, and the ferry which takes both cars and foot passengers across to the town of Bowness.
The front door of this property opens onto a hallway which leads into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, the heart of the cottage. This room is warm and welcoming, with beamed-effect ceiling, a coal-effect electric fire, a three seater sofa and a recliner, as well as a TV/DVD, and CD player. Behind the sofa, the dining area has a table seating four, and a pine sideboard. There is a curtain which can be pulled across to create a divide between the lounge/diner and the kitchen area, which is equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. Stairs in the hallway lead to the first-floor accommodation, a master double bedroom and a zip-and-link twin room which can be made up as king-size upon request. The bathroom is also located on the first-floor and offers a shower over the bath and WC.
Outside, there is an enclosed patio with seating to the front of the property.
