Fabulous stay. Lovely cottages and swimming pool. We applaud the ethos of the animal sanctuary and now have a little more understanding why most are not on display.

The cottage is in a beautiful location, is well equipped and very comfortable. Even though the pool was unheated (other than in July and August) it was just about warm enough to swim in in May. The animal sanctuary was an absolute bonus, it was wonderful to watch the zebra, reindeer and wallabies grazing in their fields, and to catch a glimpse of oRead morether rescued animals in their enclosures. Fab place to stay! The cottage was really comfy (I nearly stole the armchairs!!) and had everything we needed. The place was so peaceful and being surrounded by the animals was wonderful. Lyndsay and Frank are excellent hosts - there if you need them and very interesting to talk to. We would love to go back again.

It was idyllic!! Beautiful place to stay, tranquility, outdoor swimming pool, lovely gardens, plenty of places to sit and see the views and soak up the sun. The cherry on the cake though was the animals! What a sight every morning! Baby wallaby eating grass from pouch was my favourite moment! A fantastic place for animals and humans!!!
