The nearby town of Kingsbridge (5 miles), located on an attractive estuary, is just a short drive away and has much to offer, including a selection of cafes, pubs, and shops. The estuary itself provides the opportunity to try a range of water sports. Bigbury-on-Sea (12 miles) has a beautiful sandy beach, with access across to Burgh Island at low tide, either on foot or by sea tractor. Slapton Sands is only 10 miles away or the picturesque village of Salcombe (12 miles) where there is a wide range of water activities, along with plenty of shops and eateries to enjoy.
As guests approach this pretty cottage, they will be immediately struck by the beautiful tranquil location, surrounded by gardens. Stepping through the front door will bring you to the spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its whitewashed brickwork, comfortable seating, and a TV to keep entertained in the evenings. The kitchen area is accessed via two steps down from the main living space, giving it its own distinct area. There is everything that guests will need to prepare their favourite meals, including an electric oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment and microwave, whilst the washing machine can be found in the covered utility area just outside the rear of the cottage. The shower room is located next to the kitchen, comprising of a walk-in shower cubicle and WC. The bedroom is located off the main living space with period features, including the exposed beams, and has a comfortable king-size bed and views to the gardens.
Outside, the property benefits from its own patio area with seating and BBQ, whilst guests are able to enjoy the attractive gardens where squirrels and a variety of birds may be spotted.
