Stylish cottage with an abundance of charm situated two miles from the M5, the village of East Brent is a great base for touring. Open countryside is in abundance with Brent Knoll being on the doorstep, an ideal spot for walkers and nature lovers. A choice of pretty towns, villages and beaches are accessible from here, including, Brean, Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare, offering a great selection of cafes, shops, restaurants and traditional seaside amusements. The cathedral cities of Wells and Bath are accessible by car and have sites of historic interest and elegant architecture. For relaxed days, enjoy exploring all that Somerset has to offer, the Gorge and Caves at Cheddar, Wookey Hole and Clarks Village are all within easy reach.

On entering the detached property from the parking area, you are met by a stylish kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Heading into the inner hallway you will find the lounge, which has doors onto the private garden and a TV/DVD, the ideal place to relax after a day spent exploring. From here is a useful separate WC and at the end of the hallway is a cosy single bedroom. Rising from the hallway is a staircase, giving access to a beautiful double bedroom with a TV and a stylish en-suite shower and WC. Further along the landing is a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC, a further bright and airy double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Venturing outside, to the front of the cottage you will find a pretty courtyard area with garden furniture and BBQ. Located directly outside of the kitchen area, it’s the perfect spot for enjoying a meal outdoors. At the other side of the house is an enclosed private garden with second al fresco dining area and a seating area, leading off from the lounge you will be sure to catch the last of the sun here. A useful garage is available for bike storage and also houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Opposite the cottage, there is much to keep all members of the family entertained, with a games room containing snooker table, skittles, dart board and table tennis available for use this is shared with nearby properties. Children will love spotting some of the owners’ animals, including Pygmy goats, chickens and ducks. There is off-road parking for two cars and additional parking spaces subject to availability to the front of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A very comfortable cottage for our family of seven. Excellent equipment levels in all rooms including kitchen, laundry machines and BBQ (pet equipment also provided but not required by us). The provision of a games room on site is an additional unexpected bonus. Would definitely book again if holidaying in the N Somerset area in the future.

The cottage was clean and comfy with lovely outside spaces and we had a very friendly welcome from the owner. The games area was great fun for table tennis, skittles and pool tournaments and we enjoyed watching the goats, ducks and rabbits. There was also a great pub at the end of the road when we didnt want to cook!

We had a lovely holiday. 7 of us fit comfortably plus a dog. The games room was ideal for the children, the pub a very short walk away that lets dogs in was great for the adults. Berrow beach was perfect for both the dog and children with a nice beach side cafe.

A lovely property full of character , well furnished & equipped. Shares a small compound with other properties , helpful owner also provides access to a games area with skittles, pool table and table tennis, a play caravan for toddlers and assorted goats, chickens & ducks. An excellent family-friendly cottage with everything you need for a great holiday...comfortable accommodation, friendly and helpful hosts, a wonderful games room and a quiet, pleasant garden with lots of outside seating... plus easy access to lots of tourist attractions.

The cottage was very nice and we and the dog had lovely welcome packs. We had family to visit near Glastonbury but we didn't like Burnham or Weston. Locally we walked up Brent Knoll which was strenuous but worth it for the views.
