Spacious contemporary house with private, enclosed garden, shared games room and good access to a wealth of nearby attractions. An ideal spot for touring or just taking a relaxing break in picturesque Somerset.

Stylish cottage with an abundance of charm situated two miles from the M5, the village of East Brent is a great base for touring. Open countryside is in abundance with Brent Knoll being on the doorstep, an ideal spot for walkers and nature lovers. A choice of pretty towns, villages and beaches are accessible from here, including, Brean, Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare, offering a great selection of cafes, shops, restaurants and traditional seaside amusements. The cathedral cities of Wells and Bath are accessible by car and have sites of historic interest and elegant architecture. For relaxed days, enjoy exploring all that Somerset has to offer, the Gorge and Caves at Cheddar, Wookey Hole and Clarks Village are all within easy reach.

On entering the detached property from the parking area, you are met by a stylish kitchen/diner. The kitchen area is well-equipped with an electric oven and gas hob, fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. Heading into the inner hallway you will find the lounge, which has doors onto the private garden and a TV/DVD, the ideal place to relax after a day spent exploring. From here is a useful separate WC and at the end of the hallway is a cosy single bedroom. Rising from the hallway is a staircase, giving access to a beautiful double bedroom with a TV and a stylish en-suite shower and WC. Further along the landing is a contemporary bathroom with shower over bath and WC, a further bright and airy double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Venturing outside, to the front of the cottage you will find a pretty courtyard area with garden furniture and BBQ. Located directly outside of the kitchen area, it’s the perfect spot for enjoying a meal outdoors. At the other side of the house is an enclosed private garden with second al fresco dining area and a seating area, leading off from the lounge you will be sure to catch the last of the sun here. A useful garage is available for bike storage and also houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is off-road parking for two cars and additional parking spaces subject to availability to the front of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Lovely clean cottage with everything you needed for a family get away - including the dog. Pub 2-3 mins walk that was a friendly pub with delicious food - good valve too. The location is perfect for everything, pub, beach, countryside walks, Bristol, Bath and Wells in easy reach. We had a great time. Recommend it!!

Ideal location with local pub a 5 minute walk, Weston super mare a 10 minute drive away. I would strongly recommend this cottage as its perfect. The only disappointments were the second double size and firmness and the lack of BBQ
