Nearby are the beautiful villages of Minions, St Cleer and Crow’s Nest, with local inns and farm shops. The nearest town is the lovely Cornish market town of Liskeard which has all the amenities one could ask for. To the north, lies Bodmin Moor which has many fantastic walks and views over the old mining engine houses that symbolise Cornwall’s proud past. To the south, is the coast with the delightful villages of Looe and Polperro remaining popular with tourists. Many sheltered coves and harbours can be found along the coastal walks. Other attractions nearby include the Eden Project, Lux park leisure centre and swimming pool, The Adrenalin Quarry, Kart World, Siblyback Segway Adventure, the Monkey Sanctuary and, for cyclists, Cardinham Woods.

The property was extremely clean and very well equipped, the owners helpful and friendly. Layout worked really well, very comfortable property. Location a bit remote but not too far to drive anywhere, lots of local walks if you dont mind the hills. Would recommend this property without hesitation.

A lovely modern and well equipped property. Huge garden and well fenced to keep the dogs in. Alpacas to keep the dogs bemused in the next field. Great hosts who where there when needed. All the equipment and furnishings are of a high quality. The location is great as it is so quiet but also close to both sides of cornwall for travelling to all the Read morelovely places. The Fox's Den is a beautiful cottage, very well equipped, tastefully decorated, set in its own grounds with a good size lawn, outside seating plus wonderful hot tub. The owners live next door and are very helpful & thoughtful. Surrounded by country lanes full of bluebells and pink campions, so pretty!

We had a wonderful time at the Fox's Den. The owners were very friendly and the accommodation was spotless and comfortable. It gave privacy even though alongside the owners property. Very quiet in the heart of the countryside with very small lanes all around.

We were absolutely delighted with this holiday cottage! The owners are very friendly and near by if you need but not intrusive. The cottage was very comfortable with reclining sofas, comfortable beds and lovely hot tub. I am very fussy on the comfort side and it was just perfect! We loved the slate floors downstairs as we didn't need to worry aboutRead more the dogs muddy paw prints we could clean it easily. The downstairs shower was a bonus for using the hot tub. The best property we have stayed in spotlessly clean well equipped food hamper was lovely . Good location for walks on the moors and the hot tub used every night . Mandy & kelvin couldn't have been more helpful, would recommend the property

We were totally satisfied with our recent visit to Foxs Den. We were welcomed with a fab food hamper on arrival and Mandy came and explained the heating and how to use the hot tub, the latter being well used. The house is a stones throw from some great walks if you have dogs. All in all, we would highly recommend.

My friends and I hired the cottage for a Christmas weekend away. The cottage exceeded our expectations and had so many nice touches with no expense spared - this included an xbox, board games, books and jacuzzi. The hosts were amazing, we were left tea, coffee and scones on our arrival which was a lovely touch and even got to feed the alpacas breakRead morefast! This house was lovely, the family are very friendly and want to make sure everything is ok with your stay, we even got to see for the first time ever there llamas being sheared.
