Well placed on the edge of the National Park within easy reach of Brecon, you could not be better placed, an absolute haven for fun seekers with access to the Brecon Beacons for walking and cycling and for the little more adventurous, rock climbing, abseiling and canoeing. Other exciting attractions nearby include Dan-yr-Ogof Caves, the National Coal Museum 'Big Pit' and The Brecon Mountain Railway. For a more peaceful day, take in one of the many towns or villages of the National Park, Hay-on-Wye famed for its weekly market and May festival, Crickhowell a small Georgian town nestled within the Usk Valley and Abergavenny a bustling market town with Roman origins considered to be the gateway to Wales and the National Park. For foodies and festival goers there’s an all year-round calendar with something to suit all tastes.

Take a minute to enjoy the views before stepping into the covered porch, the perfect place to leave your well-worn walking boots behind, before stepping into the lounge/diner, an inviting area for all that come and stay, with a warming wood burner, TV and traditional furnishings that further enhance its style. Step outside, and enjoy the open aspect of the gardens with garden furniture and BBQ, perfect to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. There is off-road parking for two cars and bicycle storage available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

SLEEPS: There are two bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and one with a single bed which can be joined with a trundle bed to make a king-size bed on request. Bed linen is provided for your stay.

RELAXING: Electric and central heating and Wi-Fi is included for your stay. There is a wood burner in the living area and your first basket of logs is included.

COOKING & DINING: There is an electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher.

KEEPING CLEAN: There is one bathroom with WC, bath and an overhead shower. Towels are provided for your stay.

OUTSIDE: The outside space boasts a charming garden with garden furniture and BBQ for use during your stay. There is also off-road parking for two cars and bicycle storage.

A wonderfully equipped and furnished cottage with lots of period features. Great attention to detail in terms of anticipating what guests require for a comfortable stay. Cosy and warm. Great parking and a large enclosed garden for the dog. Excellent location in the countryside within 15 minutes drive to Brecon town centre. Excellent base to access Read moreactivities within the National Park. Owner was friendly and helpful when making arrangements. Would definitely recommend to couples and dog owners. Hide
