Nestled in this farmyard on Bodmin Moor, enjoying the seclusion of the moor, yet only three miles from the former market town of Camelford. Just slightly further afield and heading towards the coast, walkers will enjoy the glorious South West Coast Path which offers magnificent views of the coastline. The area is also populated by an array of sandy beaches and sheltered coves which are perfect for surfing and sunbathing, including Trebarwith Strand which is a short drive away and pet friendly. Other attractions accessible from here include Port Isaac, where TV’s Doc Martin is filmed, Bodmin Jail, Padstow, Rock, Tintagel, with its Arthurian Legends, Boscastle, The Eden Project, Tate Gallery at St Ives, and numerous National Trust properties.
Stepping in to the cottage with it's terracotta tiled floor, the first room that you will find is a spacious and characterful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where a cosy leather sofa bed sits in front of a TV/DVD, wood burner and a selection of games, books and DVDs can be enjoyed. The kitchen area is well-equipped and offers an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. From here a door leads into the shower room and is beautifully presented with a feature antique wash-stand, shower and WC. Located on the other side of the lounge there is a small single bedroom and from here the accommodation leads through to a beautifully light and airy double bedroom with French doors to the garden. Please note that this is a character property and even though the accommodation is arranged on one floor there are some split levels separated by steps both inside and out.
Venturing outside, a beautiful enclosed cottage garden with patio, garden furniture, garden games and charcoal BBQ is located at the rear of the property.
