Within walking distance from the centre of the popular harbour town of Padstow. The property commands a peaceful position at the end of a long farm track, creating a delightful environment for children and animals, free from passing traffic. Padstow has long been regarded as Cornwall's capital of ‘food’, with celebrity chef Rick Stein taking residence within the attractive town. This historic harbour town boasts a wealth of galleries along its winding streets as well as some of Cornwall's finest cafes, tea rooms and restaurants. A short drive away are some of the finest beaches and secluded coves along this coast that are aptly referred to as the ‘seven bays for seven days’.

Approached by a long drive your cottage awaits. Enter into the lounge/kitchen/diner, styled traditionally with original exposed beams and tastefully furnished capturing the character one would expect of a traditional Cornish cottage. The lounge area is a perfect place to relax after a day's adventures, or for those winter breaks cosy up around the wood burner whilst taking in your favourite programmes on the TV. The kitchen area is fully-equipped and provides all the essentials one would expect for your holiday cooking requirements, comprising of electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Off from the lounge/kitchen/diner are two double bedrooms, both styled with a traditional cottage theme that runs throughout the property. The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a shower over bath and WC. From the lounge/kitchen/diner a beautiful pine staircase leads to bedroom number three, a splendid twin room in the attic with an apex ceiling and velux window capturing estuary views, the perfect den for adults and children alike.

Heading outside the property benefits from a patio area with garden furniture overlooking the ornate pond, with living wildlife full of insects, frogs and newts at certain times of the year and an enclosed garden laid to lawn again with garden furniture.

Nice cottage - very clean and well equipped. Was smaller than we expected but was OK for two adults. Shame the garden was overgrown with weeds and a portion of the path to the rear of the property covered in thick brown/green slime.

Great place to stay. There were just the two of us plus dogs. The place was great for two, would have been ok for two plus small children, but very crowded for six adults. The garden is not dog proof. Having said that the place is well equipped and the linen, especially towels were really good. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had a lovely week at the cottage marred just a bit by noise from the house in front, occupants tended to shout to each other when outdoors, also last couple of days workmen on site playing the radio quite loudly and also singing along to it equally loudly! Not a huge issue as we were out much of the time, but slightly irritating when we were at Read more'home'. Lovely cottage, clean, comfy and well equipped, enough space for the 2 of us. 4 probably OK but 6 very tight IMHO. Garden does need TLC. Hide

Really quiet and away from the madness of Padstow. 40 mins walk to Padstow. Lovely view of the estuary but unfortunately no direct route down to it. Well equipped kitchen, gas BBQ a bonus. Garden nice for sitting out in the sun but pond has seen better days. Beds in the main bedroom are really high up and youre likely bang your head and legs in theRead more beds in the attic. Building work in the neighbouring property but it looks to all be interior now so was not disturbed by it. Hide

Tidy and well appointed inside. Cosy rather than spacious. Outdoors fell short of expectations.

Lovely cottage well equipped. Nice linens and towels. We were 4 adults and a dog. Picturesque and serene great for warmer months when u can benefit from garden area and patio. Sadly it rained a lot so we dried ourselves by the fire. Recommended.
