If you are looking for a bolthole in the country, with a warming wood burner and hot tub then this pretty cottage should fit the bill. Well positioned for pleasant walks in a relaxing environment.

A blissful, rural location, yet close to a range of attractions and facilities. There are stunning walks from your door and the added benefit of two miles of fishing rights on the magnificent River Cothi. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is close by and a great day out. The market town of Llandeilo, with a host of independent shops and eateries is seven miles and offers an interesting selection of antique shops and galleries. Head further afield and the coastline meets a rich history at Llansteffan, with an imposing castle overlooking the beach. Pembrey and Machynys are both within twenty miles and offer wide expanses of sand, country parks and access to the Millennium Coastal Path.

Enter this spacious cottage into the open-plan kitchen/diner, a bright and airy space with bags of charm to instantly relax you into the holiday spirit. The kitchen area is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area leads on to the character lounge with sofas framing the wonderful wood burner set against the exposed stone wall. There is a DAB radio/docking station to help you set the mood for a cosy evening in by the fire or sit back and relax in front of the TV/DVD, French doors open onto the outside area at the rear of the property. There is also a ground floor bathroom with shower over bath and WC. From the lounge, head up an impressive wooden staircase to the beautiful mezzanine king-size bedroom, that overlooks the lounge, and there is a separate WC on this floor too. This is a romantic cottage, ideal for an escape to the country, mixing a practical, contemporary interior with character features and excellent facilities.

Outside, there is a private enclosed patio area with rattan furniture and a wonderful private hot tub that is for your exclusive use. There is off-road parking for one car.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

An absolutely lovely home-away-from-home just about as far from busy modern life as you could wish for. The cottage acts as a perfect base from which to explore the surrounding country side, and somewhere to come home to after a day of activity to chill out and rest weary limbs in the hot tub.

Our host muriel was most welcoming and provided us with a welcome hamper. The cottage is lovely and in a beautiful and tranquil location. Very surprised by how quiet the Welsh roads are when going to different locations. Would highly recommend.

Spacious, homely and peaceful stay. Nice welcome and basket of goodies - little bottle of bubbly, jam, cakes, eggs, tea, milk and cheese. Lots of thought given to what you might need provided. Jacuzzi a luxury and very relaxing. Not far by car to seaside, gardens, museums etc.- an enjoyable stay.

This was our second visit to Teifi cottage. Again we were welcomed to a lovely hamper full of local goodies and essentials. We were extremely lucky with the weather, we spent many hours in the hot tub enjoying watching the kites and the lambs in the field. The area is of outstanding beauty and Teifi is the perfect place to unwind. Wonderful romantic duplex cottage hidden away in the wilderness. Spacious hot tub and wonderful log burning fire; which heats the whole building. The hamper and essentials available on arrival were an amazing surprise and really helped the experience. We will certainly be staying here again in future.

Great ambiance with mezzanine floor. Good running route nearby. Simon did really well to get our welcome hamper together in such short notice as wed only booked the cottage 24 hours before. Go walking in brechfa forest or maybe walk along the beach at Llansteffan.

Very clean and tidy, made you feel welcome, hot tub and wood burner ready to go on arrival. Great cottage , fresh pint of milk and orange juice in fridge and a hamper of some welsh goodies. The cottage itself is beautiful. The stone walls and log burner makes the space cozy on a cold day. The hot tub was the perfect end to each day - very relaxing and warming! The property is amazing, so beautiful. The hot tub was on ready for us and Simon had set the fire ready to burn. It was lovely. There are plenty of areas near by for fantastic walks and the beach is only 45 mins drive away we had a fab day out there with our dog Chloe. We were looking for a get away from it all holiday and that is what we got. The cottage was lovely and contained everything you could want and more.
