A really lovely location and view over the river Mawddach. A short drive to either Barmouth and Dolgellau and ideally located for exploring lots Snowdonia or West Wales. It is on a main(ish) road, but parking is perfectly fine and inside the cottage you really focus on the view over the river and the windows are pretty soundproof so you just don't Read morenotice. Thoroughly enjoyed our short break and this lovely quirky cottage. Hide

Great accomodation with a stunning view of the estuary from all three floors. It's close to the road but all the main rooms are on the opposite side of the house overlooking the estuary and mountains and road noise was never an issue.

We absolutely loved staying in the cottage with its breathtaking views , homeliness, facilities and access to all Snowdonia has to offer. We stayed over the August BH and were not bothered by road noise. If you want to escape and enjoy the views this really is the place to go.

The property has splendid views but is next to a busy road. My bedroom was about 6 feet from this, very noisy. You cannot relax outside on the patio because of the traffic noise.

The cottage has a very nice view. Unfortunatly it is located directly on a very busy street (July) and it was impossible to leave the house just for one step without the car. The balcony is located directly beside this road (at the entrance of the house) and it was not nice to sit there because of the noise from the traffic.

This property has excellent and ever-changing views of the Mawddach estuary and is a very good base for walking around Dolgellau and up Cadair Idris. Drawbacks are the constant noise from the road, the lack of a tumble drier and the rather beaten-up paintwork.
