We have had a lovely week. The cottage was clean and well equipped. It is in a lovely quiet spot but within walking distance of the pubs, shop and railway - 10 minutes on the train to the metro centre. We would definitely recommend.

We stayed in this delightful cottage for the first time last October, and had no hesitation in booking it again for this Spring. We were not disappointed! Location is perfect for us with a very elderly relative nearby. Looking forward to our next visit, particularly with our love for Northumbria.

We booked for 28days while waiting for new house and it was perfect. Very well equipped and clean. It is in a very good location with easy access by foot or car. I would highly recommend this property for any length of stay.

Lovely, comfortable cottage in an excellent location, extremely well decorated, equipped and furnished. Wylam is a lovely village with plenty of food and drink options. Main complaint would be that guests have no control over the heating in the cottage whatsoever - it's all fixed and regulated by the owner. Not a huge problem in the summer, but I'dRead more have reservations about a winter stay. Also the listing states that there is roadside parking for two cars - in fact it's first-come first-served. Comfy and well appointed property, rooms were all really clean and comfortable. Location was quite and restful, Whitham lots to do in the area. Sadly, the garden is tiny and has no grass for dogs or children. Heating is not great, its remotely controlled by the owner, we had to text the owner to put the heating on!
