There is lots to see and do in the area including the picturesque Hartland Quay and the beautiful South West Coast Path with spectacular walks and stunning scenery, including dramatic cliffs, waterfalls, secluded coves and beaches. In addition, and just a short drive away, Westward Ho! offers two miles of golden sandy beach and ever popular Bude boasts a choice of beaches, numerous amenities and a picturesque canal. Other attractions and places of interest accessible from here include Clovelly, the unique cliffside fishing village with cobbled streets and pretty harbour and RHS Rosemoor.

Guests approach the property from the pretty arched gateway and are greeted by a mosaic tiled entrance hall. Stepping into the comfortable lounge with TV/DVD and feature fireplace with wood burner, making this a comfortable room to relax after a days exploring. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped and offers everything you require should you decide to stay in and cook, there is an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and ample room to sit around the table, the door from the kitchen area leads out to a small enclosed courtyard. Leading up from the cottage style stair case you reach the large king-size bedroom with TV and country views. The large en-suite bathroom offers freestanding bath, double shower and WC.

Heading outside from the front door is a gated lawn with enclosed patio area with garden furniture. At the rear of the property is a small enclosed courtyard with BBQ which enjoys the evening sun.

Honeysuckle hideaway is beautiful, very spacious and comfortable. Garden fabulous for our two fur babies. Sitting in the garden looking at the view was a pleasure and so relaxing. Would definitely recommend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Honeysuckle. All the rooms are large and homely. It was great to sleep in such a huge and comfortable bed at the end of the day. A garden for the dog and a convenient parking space just outside the gate. Two pubs within a 10 minute drive, The Thatched Inn and The Pig on the Hill, fab food in both. The lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom are all large areas where it is impossible to get under each others feet. The bathroom with the standalone bath and the extra large shower cubicle has been done to a very high standard . Cottage was clean, well presented and the garden was perfect for our two dogs. Very much appreciated the use of the paddock. The bed was sooooo comfortable and the owner helpful but not intrusive. Honeysuckle Hideaway is a delightful cottage in the midst of the Devon countryside with a very pretty secure garden. Such a joy to wake and see the glorious views from your bedroom window. Supermarkets are close by but we were disappointed not to find any farm shops selling local produce. There is a very good pub with excellent food five minutes awRead moreay by car. This cottage is ideal for 2 and is situated in a very peaceful spot . It is cosy, spacious ,comfortable spotlessly clean and within easy reach of some fantastic walks and beaches. We stayed over the Christmas break and were delighted to have Honeysuckle Hideaway to return to when the weather defeated us ! This was the second time we have stayed in this lovely property. We love it. The property is spotless,comfortable and spacious.we enjoyed sitting in the garden after days out. I liked to sit in the church yard next to the property,the view is stunning. There is a field across the road where your dogs can have a run. Our first stay at Honeysuckle hideaway. What a lovely cottage and so big. Large comfy bed. Great to have a decent size TV with great choice of channels. Neil was so helpful in suggesting places to go and see. Front garden was brilliant for us and our GSD, perfectly safe and escape proof. Very useful to have use of the paddock . Honeysuckle hideaway is a delightful place to stay. It is well furnished and equipped. Rooms are well proportioned and the cottage includes a beautiful garden to relax in. The location is tranquil and is an excellent base for exploring the north Devon coast or even venturing in to Cornwall.

Wonderful second stay at Honeysuckle Hideaway. The cottage is really comfortable and beautifully situated in the Devon countryside. Close to a number of beaches and tourist attractions. Our favourite thing to do however, was to just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet.

As usual, a genuine 5 Star experience. This was our fourth time at Honeysuckle Hideaway. An extremely spacious, spotlessly clean holiday home with a lovely enclosed front garden for sitting out (weather permitting). A beautiful spot with easy access to lovely coastal walks and sandy beaches. We celebrated the coronation weekend with a bottle of bubbly kindly left for us in the fridge!

Another great week in North Devon at Honeysuckle Hideaway. This is the perfect holiday cottage, spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Dog friendly with a secure garden and in the most idyllic rural location with gorgeous views yet still close to all the delights the area has to offer. Just fabulous.

A beautiful clean cottage with such a comfortable bed. We loved the log burner and so did our two dogs. We had the most relaxing week and felt as though we were miles from anywhere even though there are plenty of shops close by. We will definitely be returning!

Thoroughly enjoyed our week away in this fabulous cottage as part of my wife's pre birthday and retirement celebrations. Weather rarely above freezing all week but the cottage was so cusy and warm that we really didn't care. Would recommend this cottage to anyone wanting to stay in this area with easy access to so many places of interest.

A peaceful rural retreat with friendly owners on hand to help if needed. The cottage was warm and comfortable and the super king size bed and lovely bathroom was a great bonus .
