This superb detached bungalow is conveniently situated in the village of Hartland and the rugged Heritage Coastline, an ideal base to explore all the area has to offer.

Walk along the magnificent coastal footpaths, take a boat trip out to Lundy Island, or closer to home why not stroll through the village which has remained virtually unchanged for years and even enjoy a drink or bite to eat in one of the villages' several pubs. Explore Hartland's 12th century Abbey and glorious gardens, visit the Quay Museum or Lighthouse. For families, there are a wide variety of sandy beaches ideal for surfing or body boarding and there are numerous theme parks such as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way. All-in-all, an ideally placed holiday location for couples or small families.

On entering the bungalow, you are greeted by a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, stylishly furnished with under floor heating, corner suite and Smart TV, it’s a great social area whether you are cooking, dining or just relaxing. The kitchen area is well-equipped with everything you need to cook a gourmet dinner including an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Patio doors lead out from the lounge, down a step, into the sun room overlooking the garden. The bedrooms are all accessed off the lounge, you will find a double with TV and en-suite shower room with shower and WC and two twin bedrooms both with TVs. There is a bathroom which has a shower over bath and WC and discretely houses the washing machine and tumble dryer.

Heading outside, there is a level patio area with garden furniture and an extensive lawn area with built-in BBQ, hot tub and far reaching countryside views. From the patio area, you can access the games room in the garage which has a small snooker table, football table and a collection of small toys. There is off-road parking for two cars on the drive.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

We had a wonderful break at Chubby Croft Close. The property was perfectly clean, spacious and a stone's throw from hartland village. Our toddler loved running around all the space. The hot tub is a fantastic addition and the January temperatures didn't put us off. Great walks locally and beaches a short drive.

Everything you need and more. 3 pubs, 2 shops and a chippy just a 5 min walk. Private gardens. A little further from Bideford than i had envisaged but a lovely village to stay in. Go for a walk to the quay if youre feeling energetic....

Chubby Croft is a lovely bungalow, set in an ideal location within walking distance of a couple of small shops and a lovely little pub. Its very clean and new, with plenty of space. The hot tub is really nice and being under the canopy meant we could still use it in wet weather. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay for NYE 2018

What a wonderful holiday home! The home was beautifully presented and clean and the specifications are of high quality. The hot tub was greatly used as was the arcade machine. The cottage was very clean and very well equipped, it was a home from home. Not much to do in Hartland village but you aren't to far from plenty of places to visit. When you are in the cottage it's very comfortable and the kids won't get bored with the retro games table, the games room or the hot tub. Will definitely go back.
