This property enjoys a lovely beach side location, with views to the sea and the beach being just a short stroll away. Village amenities in quiet Thurlestone include a shop and a popular pub, as well as the golf course and two beaches. Further afield, there are many beaches, seaside towns and fishing villages to explore, including Dartmouth and Blackpool Sands. Plymouth with its Hoe and waterfront Barbican complex is around a 45 minute drive away and offers a wide range of shops, a historic waterfront, and a wide range of eateries.

This 1930s property is ideal for those who like to be close to the sea whilst enjoying a quiet and peaceful location. The lounge area comfortably seats four and has a Smart TV. A door from here leads through to the kitchen/diner, a light-filled space with large sliding doors which open out onto the decked seating area overlooking the garden. The large dining table sits in front of these doors, whilst the kitchen is well-equipped with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble dryer, whilst there is also a convenient ground-floor WC. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first bedroom is a pleasant double with sea views, whilst the other room is a twin, which also enjoys those views across to the sea. One of the bathrooms has a mixer shower and WC, whilst the other has a bath, separate shower cubicle and WC.

Guests will love the large enclosed garden, which is mainly set to lawn and a patio seating area close to the house which has beautiful sea views, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

We had a perfect week. Everything we needed was provided. Clean and comfortable. Beautiful views from a lovely enclosed garden. Our third stay and were already booked to go back!

Great cottage, our first stay here and we loved it. Great location with fabulous sea views, lovely to have a totally secure garden for the dogs with ample parking. Really comfortable bed double bed. Whilst there we booked to return again next year.

Perfect house for dog owners as the garden is large and totally secure. The house is in great location and has fabulous views across tennis courts to the coast. It's short walk across the golf course to a lovey sandy beach and the coastal path. Very comfortable house with sunny garden.

The house was in need of an update, everything was looking very worn, The toilet seat was loose and the upstairs toilet made the pipes vibrate when flushed.( Worried for next doors guests)

As always, a fabulous stay at West Delvers. Spotless upon arrival, the cleaners do a great job. The kitchen has been refreshed and a new TV with Netflix and a chrome cast has been added in the lounge since our last visit in 2019 which is a nice modern touch. The internet also seems much better now too. Can't wait to return again soon.
