Lovely studio apartment, a quiet rural retreat on the edge of Dartmoor and yet just a short drive from the amenities of the market town of Tavistock.

This apartment enjoys a tranquil rural location in a tiny hamlet at the foot of Dartmoor’s White Tor, meaning that guests are able to enjoy miles of walks directly from the front door of the property. The property isn’t completely remote though, as just two miles away lies the town of Tavistock, with its farmers’ market, boutique shops, bistros, pubs, and cafes. The property’s mid-Devon location means that it is possible to reach both the north and south coasts of Cornwall in under an hour, and of particular interest, are the fishing village of Looe, King Arthur’s Tintagel, and the National Trust village of Boscastle.

This ground-floor apartment is one of two properties at this location, making it an ideal place if you would like to holiday with friends, whilst also being able to retain some privacy. This is a studio apartment, but it is in no way cramped, in fact it is spacious and has a light and airy feel to it. The bedroom area of the apartment has its own space to one end of the property, and has a comfortable double bed with stylish bedside lamps and tables. The open-plan living area is directly opposite the bedroom area, where the sofa makes a relaxing place to curl up and watch the TV and DVD, which also benefits from Netflix and Freeview.  There is also a dining table for two which is situated next to the kitchen area. Nothing is lacking here and guests will be pleased to find everything they will need to feel at home, including an oven, hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave, washing machine, and Nespresso coffee machine. There is a shower room with WC and heated towel rail.

Outside there is an exclusive patioed seating area and guests are able to make use of the one-acre of shared gardens, where they will find a BBQ and seating areas. Off-road parking is available for one car. There is covered storage available for bikes and it is possible to hire bikes onsite. Two small dogs or one medium dog welcome by arrangement and at an extra charge.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The Garden apartment was lovely. Very comfortable and beautifully furnished. Everything you could possibly want was there and the location for us was perfect and very quiet. The owners were lovely and very helpful.

This was a very stylish apartment and equipped and decorated to a very high standard. It had items not normally found, such as a coffee maker and BBQ. Obviously great attention to detail had gone into its planning, to ensure the comfort of visitors. There was coffee, tea and milk available on arrival and all linen was provided. Beautiful property and ideal for adults. The white decor make It impractical for dogs and possibly kids. The bed was amazingly comfy as was sofa. Shower also amazing. The venue is so nicely designed Loved it

Comfortable quiet apartment. Pub was a mile away, served very good food. Tavistock about 5 miles away. Nice market. Pleasant walk aound the Wharf. Drakes trail not too far away, so lots of nice walks nearby.
