Charming luxurious bespoke shepherds hut with wood burner perfect for cosy nights in. Situated in a peaceful tranquil setting and benefits from magnificent sea and countryside views.

Nestled in the grounds of a beautiful former church, in the sleepy hamlet of Kyloe, just minutes from the magnificent unspoilt Northumberland coastline, with its splendid sandy beaches to explore. The medieval town of Berwick-upon-Tweed and the picture postcard seaside village of Bamburgh with its magnificent castle are close at hand. Visit the historic marketing towns of Alnwick famed for its castle used in the Harry Potter films, Wooler and Morpeth. Walkers, hikers and mountain bikers are well catered for with Glendale, Cheviot Hills and Northumberland’s National Park within easy reach. Enjoy a trip to the beautiful Holy Island of Lindisfarne, with its unique access across its tidal causeway, or catch a sea-life boat trip around the stunning Farne Islands.

Leading through the beautiful private arched tree lined pathway up to a small flight of stairs, onto the decked area, you are met with this delightful shepherds hut perfect for a luxurious romantic glamping experience. Entering the property you will find to the left the snug sleeping area with a king-size bed and wall mounted Smart TV/DVD and radio/iPod dock, perfect for listing to music, and plenty of storage space. There is a dining table with seating and a wood burner perfect for cosy nights in and oil fired plug in heater at hand too. The kitchen area is well-equipped with electric double hob, fridge with ice compartment, microwave and sink. Next, through the door you will find the shower room with shower and WC.

Venturing outside is the private decked area with seating wher you can enjoy magnificent countryside and sea views across to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. This is a perfect area for alfresco dining with charcoal BBQ provided, or perhaps enjoy a nice glass of wine or a good local ale. Located next to the hut is a very handy unique boot room made out of the original churches pulpit, perfect for outdoor clothing storage. There is also a covered secure bike storage next to the property and log store. Ample off-road parking is available for this property.

We loved it, everything about it, and definitely want to go again. We were worried about it being too cold in November, but as soon as the wood-burning stove was going, which didn't take long, we were toasty warm - almost too hot!

Perfect little cottage in a quiet, secluded location for rest and relaxation. The cottage is well planned to maximise a small amount of space. Perfect small cottage to relax, with good food in neighboring Lowick and close to other larger towns - Bamburgh, Berwick, Seahouses, Holy Island etc.

Better than the description! This little hut exceeded our expectations in almost every way. It's beautifully equipped, the owners are very friendly and the location is perfect for anyone who wants a rural retreat. It is about 100 yards from the car park to the hut, (the owners provide a trolley to move your luggage) and there are a few steps up, soRead more not suitable for anyone with limited mobility. This is the cosiest, most unique place Ive ever had the pleasure of staying in, from the pulpit full of wood for the log burner, to the morning visit from the free range hens. Very peaceful with views to die for.

We had such a relaxing weekend. The hut had everything we needed including a very comfy bed. The view was amazing, we woke one morning to a deer in the field out front. We fell in love with The Hut immediately. Such a quaint, stunning and peaceful private setting. I was treating my husband to a break after suffering from stress and anxiety and it was just what the doctor ordered and we didnt want to leave. The Good Shepherd's Hut was exactly what we had expected and hoped for. It is in a private position behind the church, and the views out to the sea and Lindisfarne were beautiful. The hut was cosy and the owners had thought of everything, including eggs and a hairdryer! We travelled without a car, and although it was a 20 min walk to the bus stop wRead moree managed to explore Bamburgh and Alnwick. We had a two night stay at the Good Shepherd Hut and it has to be one of the nicest places i have ever stayed. Not only is it situated with wonderful Northumberland sea views, but the hut is a dream. This is a perfect, peaceful little hideaway - snug, warm, beautifully designed and perfectly equipped.
