Tucked away within the grounds of a beautiful country home.  From its elevated position this lovely shepherd's hut has magnificent views across to the Welsh mountains.  Peaceful, tranquil, and indulgent.

You could not wish to be better placed, to enjoy the enviable position on the English/Welsh border. The Offa’s Dyke foot path is nearby allowing for you to enjoy a long or short trek. The Black Mountains, Brecon beacons and Wye Valley are also nearby. The area offers a number of historic market towns such as Hay-on-Wye, Clun, Ludlow and Leominster, across the border you will find an area steeped in history with some of Europe’s finest surviving castles and countryside, Brecon Castle overlooking the River Usk and Abergavenny Castle set against the spectacular hills.

Step onto the terrace and enjoy the views across the Welsh mountains, the shepherds hut offers open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining/sleeping area, the comfortable seating with coloured cushions and natural woollen throws sit perfectly in front of the wood burner, and for a simple supper a gas oven and hob sits within sympathetic wooden work tops. For a peaceful night’s sleep step up into the built in double bed where you can enjoy views onto the mountain range, there are also two pull out beds just perfect for a family, there is also a shower room, with shower and an Eco WC outside the shepherds hut.

The shepherds hut has been designed for entertaining and offers a spacious terrace, a table and chairs sits perfectly enjoying the views across to the mountains and open countryside, with a further seating area creating the perfect place for an evening with friends, feel free to roam the grounds with acres to explore. There is off-road parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

SLEEPS: There is one double bed and two additional pull-out single beds.

RELAXING: Electric power and electric heating is included for your stay.

COOKING & DINING: There is a gas oven and hob in the kitchen area.

KEEPING CLEAN: You’ll find one shower room with an Eco WC. Towels are provided for your stay.

OUTSIDE: Outside there is a terrace with ample seating and table space, plus ample off-road parking space for two cars.

PETS: This property welcomes one dog.

TECHY STUFF: The hut has full electrical power with sockets for charging all your gadgets. There is good mobile reception on most networks.

We had a lovely stay. Location is so peaceful and relaxing and the accommodation was well equipped to really enjoy our stay. Be prepared to really get away from it all, with local shops and pubs only within driving distance, so come prepared with food before you arrive.
