The Parks cottage is the best cottage we have stayed in and is the only one we would return to. The cottage is eco-friendly, comfortable and warm (without needing any heating) and is situated in an amazing elevated position looking down on Presteigne. If you are planning to cycle, there is no easy way back to the cottage. The hills are challenging!

A perfect cottage in a perfect location. We were greeted with a welcome pack of milk, butter, bacon, apple juice, wine, eggs, tea and coffee and fresh bread....delicious. You could stay in the cottage and drink in the amazing view all day. The beds are comfortable and the property was spotlessly clean.

I have to say that our experience of Parks cottage can only be described as fantastic, The owners, the accommodation, the locality and the view ticked all the boxes. Just something to bear in mind is that some people (like my mother) suffer from allergies exacerbated by feather bedding. I was intrigued to stay in an off grid property, but the facilities are so good you wouldn't know it was off grid, so I found it a good experience.
