Situated on the edge of the idyllic and picturesque village of Lympstone, nestled along the shore of the Exe Estuary and just a short distance from the thriving coastal town of Exmouth.

The idyllic village of Lympstone offers a choice of fine dining, village stores/Post Office, a cafe and four public houses. The Exe Estuary Trail is popular and perfect for walkers and cyclists. The historic Cathedral City of Exeter is a short drive, train or bus ride away.  For those special occasions visit celebratory chef, Michael Caine's restaurant Lympstone Manor, a short walk from the property.

On entering this beautifully dressed barn conversion, you are greeted by the light and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area which boasts original features such as exposed beams throughout the downstairs. After a day of exploring all that South Devon has to offer, why not cosy up in front of the TV with DVD player. Leading off the lounge area, up a couple of steps is a well-appointed kitchen, with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Great for budding cooks should you choose to bring back local ingredients from the nearby farm shops, the local butcher or fresh fish from the coast. The shower room with WC which is accessed via a couple of steps is located downstairs adjacent to the staircase. Following on up the staircase, you will find two tranquil bedrooms, one double and one twin. Also a WC is located between the two rooms. The cottage has been designed with ultimate comfort for any season in mind.

Heading outside via the front door you will find a small enclosed area with furniture. Across the drive and behind the owners accommodation is a spacious garden/patio area offering outdoor seating. There is also a covered storage area for bikes and water sports equipment that guests are welcome to use. 1 dedicated parking space - other spaces by arrangement. 1 dog welcome 10 months of the year (not July and August)

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

What a fantastic cottage situated on the main road to Exmouth (not noisy). The cottage was very clean and the owners who lived across in the Old Dairy were lovely hosts and very attentive. Walking distance to The Sadlers which is a carvery and a 5 minute drive to Lympstone Harbour. Highly recommended.

In an ideal situation for walking the South West Coat Path with a selection of good places to eat nearby. Only draw back is traffic noise from the main road, because of its location, but it's not a bit problem. The owners are very helpful.

Lovely cottage with great facilities, but didn't appreciate just how close the cottage was to the main road. Could hear the traffic with an open bedroom window and had to walk onto the main road for a short way to access the pavement.

Well appointed cottage, good quality furnishing and fittings, lovely comfy beds ! The owners Den and Joules were extremely welcoming, they live in the Old Dairy B&B, just a couple of steps from Byre Cottage.

An excellent modern cottage around 10 minutes from exmouth with great owners who run the BB opposite. This is a clean and well supplied cottage open plan with two bedrooms and they welcome dogs. They have a set of rules for dogs which is fair and reasonable which should be sent beforehand. We really recommend this cottage.
