This property sits in a charming rural position, acting as an ideal base from which to explore the Peak District National Park. Nearby, Dovedale is popular with walkers wanting to enjoy the stunning views or for those looking to exercise their legs a little more, the cycling trails of Tissington and Manifold are right on the doorstep. Located just a few miles from the property, Hartington has all the necessary local amenities including a pub, restaurants and shops.

Stepping inside the property leads you straight through to the stylish kitchen which is well-equipped and offers everything you need for a home away from home stay, an electric oven and electric induction hob, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. There is a handy utility room with a washing machine and a beautiful stable door letting the light flood in. Just off the utility room is a shower room with shower and WC. The beautiful open-plan lounge/diner is the heart of the house, with huge character windows and handcrafted wood features throughout. The lounge area has a TV/DVD and sumptuous sofas to relax on in front of the beautiful wood burner and in the dining area there is a dining table which will seat the whole family for dinner. The stunning huge church door can be seen throughout this room and is a real feature within the property, even the walk upstairs is beautiful with the wooden staircase leading to the landing. On this floor there is a double bedroom with a striking circle feature window and built-in wardrobes providing ample hanging space and handy en-suite. The next bedroom is a single room with feature church windows. The third bedroom has a spacious king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made up as a twin on request). The bathroom has a walk in shower, bath and WC.

Outside is a small courtyard space with seating to relax and take in the village life after a day’s exploring.  There is also use of a small paddock, great for kids to play in.  There is ample off-road parking.

The Chapel is a unique, high quality property, which has been designed with great thought and detail. It's owners are warm and friendly, and give time despite the constant demands of their enviable farm. It is warm, welcoming, spacious and comfortable, being quietly situated in Sheen. We had meals in both Hartington - The Devonshire Arms, and WettoRead moren- The Royal Oak, and recommend both, which are minutes away by Car. Just Fabulous! Hide

What a great conversion. Well designed, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy your holiday. Equipment provided is of a high level and everyting you need is provided. Without hesitation our family of four highly recommend this cottage. We felt immediately at home and very much enjoyed our time there. The cottage was beautifully clean, has comfy beds and is well specified. A lovely property located in the Peak District. It is a beautifully a presented chapel conversion that is finished to a very high standard. The surrounding area offers some fantastic walks, local amenities and village pubs.

The Chapel is absolutely gorgeous and is a home from home. Fantastic location. Very spacious and perfect for five of us on a walking holiday for a week. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. A perfect cottage. Cant fault it. Spent Christmas here and loved it. Visited the farm twice. Owners very friendly. Beautiful area and lovely surrounding villages. Cottage was very clean upon arrival and nicely decorated with Christmas decorations. Highly recommend a stay at the chapel.

Wow!! absolutely gorgeous cottage. All fittings and fixtures are top quality. Beds so comfy, lovely large comfy settees. Fabulous kitchen, bathroom, and wet room all so big!! Great log burner, under floor heating is so warm. Absolutely everything you will need is included in this cottage. Best quality towels and bedding. Fabulous location and plentRead morey of parking. Clean and comfortable chapel conversion. Well equipped with good appliances. Well located for touring the Peak District and parts of Staffordshire. Location makes mobile signal variable. Helpful owners and friendly and busy village.

A jaw dropping interior space, with beautifully finished oak floors and carefully preserved chapel features. In the perfect spot for dale walking, on the site of a beautiful working farm managed by friendly, accommodating family. Wont forget the trip and hope to return again soon!

This was a wonderful place to stay. Close to some amazing places. Loved going to the farm and seeing it in action. Would highly recommend this holiday cottage/ Chapel for families and couples wanting a break in the countryside.

What a fabulous little find. The chapel is very tastfully converted, very modern. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The under floor heating was amazing. We were so warm. The kitchen is modern and very well equipped. We will definitely be back.

A truly wonderful conversion, the photos don't do the place justice! A wonderful open spacial living area, but still cosy warm, the underfloor heating is so subtle but very effective. We will be back!

Really beautiful chapel conversion- high quality finishes, warm and comfortable stay. Very well equipped kitchen, plenty of space - just perfect for 4 friends who were meeting up from all corners of the UK! Very friendly owner who let us see the new born calves, and watch milking! Near Buxton, Bakewell and Chatsworth estate but be warned there are Read moresome very narrow rural roads which should be driven with great care especially in the dark! The Chapel at Fold Farm is even lovelier than the photos. It is well equipped, spacious, warm, really clean and the beds are super comfy. The owners are extremely helpful. The area is charming and good for local walks or access by car to other areas of the Peaks. We truly loved our stay here. Very highly recommended

Very comfortable place, sensitively-done and well-equipped chapel conversion. Great location, with excellent walks from the door, and good local stores and farm shops close by in Hartington. Easy access to local towns (Buxton, Bakewell, Leek), as well as spectacular countryside. Will definitely plan to return!
