Four guests (two couples) had a fantastic stay at the start of the February half term. We found the Lodge to be spacious and well-equipped for cooking and eating at the property, along with being brilliantly linked with Public Footpaths to Butterton, Grindon, and the Manifold Valley. The beds were comfortable, the shower was powerful and warm, and Read morethe lounge was well equipped with guides, maps, a wood burner, and games to entertain yourselves with. Absolutely adored this stay! Donkeys, chickens, cows and dogs all roam free across the farm, including next to this lodge. Shower was powerful and hot, the bed was very comfortable and the amenities were useful. They also keep books/DVDs and board games under the TV which I thought was a nice touch :)
