Guests who choose to stay at the property are also only a short drive to Bath, Cheltenham and Tetbury. The whole of the Cotswolds region is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers couples a paradise of rural tranquillity as well as the opportunity to try many outdoor activities including walking and hiking, cycling, horse riding, golf, motor sport, gliding, ballooning, fishing, or just ambling around and through the many beautiful villages.

Enter this delightful barn conversion to find a cozy lounge area with an unusual circular glass wood burner; a charming exposed beamed, vaulted ceiling, a comfortable sofa and a TV/DVD. Head through into the kitchen/diner, which is accessed via two steps down from the lounge and also features exposed beams as well as a travertine floor and an intimate dining area with a table and chairs. The kitchen is equipped with wooden units, an electric oven, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, microwave and many useful extras to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. The king-size bedroom  offers exposed beams and oak flooring. There is also a shower room with WC and a heated towel rail and access from the bedroom and lounge for easy day time use.

Outside guests can enjoy the enclosed patio area with garden and spectacular countryside views, garden furniture and a BBQ.

Had a lovely break with our two large dogs here. Plenty of enclosed space for them to run around in and some great walks on the doorstep. The hosts were kind enough to leave us a welcome gift of local cider, ale and fruit bread. They were also helpful throughout our stay. A beautiful, quirky cottage set in tranquil countryside with uniterupted views from the bedroom window and the large south facing garden, so it's in the sun all day. We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It's well appointed, good garden for the dog to run about in, warm & comfortable. It's next to a pretty church but thankfully no bells to wake us up! Cottage location was lovely although I felt we could not walk to the pub due to the remoteness of the area . Cottage itself was clean and the log burner a bonus . Earl Barton Cottage was a perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The cottage is well equipped, clean and comfortable. If you want peace & quiet Earl Barton Cottage is the place to be. Earl Barton is beautiful. As is the surrounding village. We loved the quaint little cottage and its homely feeling. Our dog absolutely adored the garden and played endless amounts of fetch. We also loved the walks nearby. Then coming home to a fire and glass of wine.

We came from the United States and were pleasantly surprised on how comfortable the Earl Barton Cottage was. We did not have a car, which is needed, but our family was able to get us around. The area is so beautiful and loved walking around the church yard next door.

A beautiful stay. Located directly next to a public footpath and opposite a cheese shop, the views were incredible. The cottage was smaller than anticipated, settee was just big enough for 2 adults. The log fire was a pleasure to have at night and heated the room up within minutes. Was rather pricey for 4 nights stay with the booking agent fee.

We had a wonderful stay at Earl Barton Cottage and the dog loved the enclosed garden with its amazing views. We met several local people who were all friendly and helpful. Lovely walk into the village over the fields via the public footpath for a coffee at The Bridge. Very handy for visiting family in Bristol. We would love to stay again.

Overall we enjoyed our stay, however the property was a lot smaller than we'd expected from the photos and there's very little ventilation in the bedroom as the windows don't open. The wet room (and therefore towels etc.) was always damp as a result too. Fabulous little cottage, it was a great base for my husband and I with our two dogs. Everywhere we went was between 30min and and hour drive so pretty central for where we wanted to go. Would definitely recommend this cottage if your going to the cotswolds. The only minus for us was the bed was uncomfortable.

A delightful cottage, well equipped for a comfortable vacation despite the recommended covid safe removal of items. A secure garden area, off road parking and patio with fine views. The cottage was snug and the bed and sofa were very comfortable. It was well equipped, clean and the wifi worked well. It was nice to have the wood burner as the nights started to get cooler. The views from the property were beautiful and changed with the days. Overall, a really nice cottage that I would recommend to others.
