Great long weekend stay (5 friends) good location and a good base to explore the local area - well equipped / good parking / comfortable beds / steep cottage stairs as mentioned. John was very welcoming and recommended a great pub for Sunday Lunch - The Anchor at Seatown where we had an excellent meal. We would book / stay again

Our hosts were very friendly, with helpful information about parking in Lyme which can be challenging in the height of Summer. The cottage was well equipped generally, though no towels were provided. The particulars did say steep cottage stairs but felt the configuration at the top of the stairs was not suitable for young children even with the staRead moreir gate . That said we had a good week, Lyme is a lovely place especially with children who are keen on dinosaurs and fossils Hide

Lovely place in the countryside. A bit hard to find and driving single lanes for continental European was challenging. Getting around only by car. The closest pub did not serve food from Sun-Wed. The house should get a bit more attention in the near future in terms of updates here and there. It was clean and very quiet to get a good sleep. We wouldRead more recommend it. Lovely hosts. Hide

This was the perfect stay. Plenty of space in rooms and everything was so comfortable and relaxed. We were so happy here for the week, including our two dogs. John and Ros were attentive owners who had provided a clean and wonderful base. The garden had a BBQ and is quite the suntrap in the summer, fantastic for hazy Al fresco dining. The beds wereRead more comfortable and we all slept well. My daughter really loved the ponies and was sad to leave them. All in all a great break in a fab location! Hide
