With the nearest sandy beach, pubs, shops and restaurants being within walking distance, this cottage is a great base for a fun-filled seaside escape. Bude has long been a popular tourist hot spot and it's easy to see why with its selection of golden sandy life guarded beaches that ring the town. Close enough to enjoy the vibrant night life that is on offer within the town but far enough to enjoy peace and relaxation. There are a host of popular must-see attractions all within easy reach such as Newquay Sea Life Centre, The Eden Project, The Milky Way Adventure Park and The Big Sheep. Discover the picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle or Tintagel which are rich in history and legend, or the pedestrianised cobbled streets of Clovelly which takes you back in time in this truly picturesque spot.

On entering the cottage, you will find the cosy lounge where you can relax in front of the TV or catch up with your favourite DVD. Heading further along the hallway is the spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room, which also has French doors leading out to the enclosed rear garden. The light and airy kitchen benefits from an integrated electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is ample room around the large dining table to enjoy leisurely meals with family and friends. Heading upstairs to the first floor there are attractive exposed floorboards throughout. On this floor you will find two double bedrooms and a bathroom which has a shower over the bath and WC.

Your description of 10 mins walking distance to beach and town is misleading. It takes much longer to walk to the beach and the town is only accessible in that time if walking on the footpath across the golf course, which you can only do in daylight and ideally dry conditions and wearing walking shoes. Car parking was difficult due to being on a veRead morery narrow street and the spaces on each side of the road are usually taken up by neighbours, but we found on street parking not too far away. The Cottage was perfect for us. It was clean and cosy, the kitchen was very well equipped and the small garden with table and chairs was a bonus, it is the perfect location for anyone that wants to walk into town but is in a very quiet location.

Beach retreat was so lovely - a home from home! Beds were so comfortable! There is everything you need for self catering including BBQ. the garden is a real sun trap too. It is only a ten minute or so walk to the town and beach and coop via the golf course public footpath.

A nice comfortable, well equipped cottage in a nice quiet location. A short walk to the centre of Bude with lovely coastal walks close by.

Parking is an issue which is not made clear. There was a nail sticking out of a floorboard which was documented as an issue in 2018. Also in the photos there is a lovely lawn in the garden but it was just mud when we stayed.
