A centrally located charming cottage in a beautiful town. Although tiny it had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Owners were friendly and welcoming and were at hand for us if need be.

What a lovely cottage and so warm. The owners could not do enough for us. My partner banged his head on the ceiling within us being in the property for 5 minutes and they were happy to offer us next door as nobody was staying there. Nothing was too much bother. Loved the welcome bottom of milk & prosecco! Would thoroughly recommend the tapas bar & Read morethe fish & chip shop - share the fish as extremely large portions! Hide

We had a lovely weekend away at Anvil cottage. It's such a cosy space in a great location. We loved Presteigne and the surrounding area. The only downside was the low beams. For my partner who is 6ft3 he banged his head a couple of times so watch out if you're tall! Everything else was fab and owners were very nice and helpful.

A small, but beautifully formed cottage, right in the middle of Presteigne. The cottage is beautifully maintained and very clean, and has everything you could need for a short break in the area, besides being well situated for some interesting days out. There was a lovely welcome from the owner. The town of Presteigne offers an array of every day aRead moremenities, but bigger towns are not too far away. We wouldn't hesitate to return to this cottage and explore the area further. Hide

Lovely homely cottage. Clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely country setting. Friendly hosts on hand nearby and we appreciated the extra touches of scones with cream on arrival and presecco in the fridge.
