Detached bungalow, with five acres of gardens and orchards, enjoying a stunning countryside location in North Devon, just a short drive from the coast.

Several short miles away from beautiful Croyde, there is lots to discover in this North Devon haven. Barnstaple, with its shops, restaurants, and cinema is also a few miles of the property, whilst for those who want to enjoy Devon’s stunning landscape, the Valley of the Rocks, Exmoor, and the breath-taking gorge at Watersmeet, are all within easy driving distance.

The main-living area of this beautiful detached bungalow is situated at the rear of the property, to make the most of the spectacular views. The spacious lounge has two separate seating areas, one next to the picture windows, and the other by the woodburner (first basket of logs included), and TV/DVD. The kitchen/diner is separated from the lounge by double doors and a single step down. The dining table seats six and is situated in front of the patio doors which allow guests to extend the space out onto the decked seating area during the warmer months. The kitchen is contemporarily styled and well-equipped with a Range-style cooker, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. The washing machine and tumble dryer are housed separately in the property’s utility room. There are three bedrooms, all of which benefit from their own TV. The first of these is a double, whilst the other two are both twin rooms which can be made up as king-size beds on request, thanks to the zip-and-link beds. The bathroom with shower-over-bath and WC, is located next to the double bedroom, and can be closed off to be used as an en-suite room if guests prefer. There is also a shower room with WC.

Outside, the decked terrace which runs along the rear of the property, provides a lovely place from which to enjoy alfresco meals or drinks. Beyond this, there is an enclosed garden, and an amazing five-acres of orchards. There is ample off-road parking available.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

I would recommend as the views from the bungalow are beautiful - its very spacious - and the garden surrounding and parking are good - the orchard is wonderful for your dogs .... just a few Sad spots in and around property that need a little TLC

The property is very secluded and with no local facilities for a few miles along very narrow country lanes. This was not a problem for us but is something visitors should be aware of.

This bungalow is so comfortable and cozy , quality in every way . All mod cons in the very attractive kitchen which was so well equipped . The veranda overlooking the orchard was a really nice addition to the bungalow , allowing you to enjoy the beautiful views . The orchard was amazing for our dogs . Definitely be back .

Directions are somewhat misleading and take you down a very narrow road. A better route is the B road from Barnstable which is wider and take you within quarter of mile from property before turning left.

The property is well situated for the beautiful coast of North Devon, it is peaceful, light, comfortable and well equipped. A lovely orchard adjoins the property and there are great countryside views to the south. The owners were close by if needed but never intrusive. We would thoroughly recommend this property to those visiting the area.

Lovely cottage with lovely ground to walk our dogs will definitely loved to of stayed again, but sadly we noticed a for sale sign.
