Mendip View was a beautiful cottage, very well cleaned, furnished tastefully, set in a lovely quiet location, yet still quite central and accessible for all the places we wanted to visit. The garden was equally lovely. There was a small but nice selection of independent shops and coffee shops/restaurants in Wedmore itself. Would highly recommend.

A lovely, comfortable, cottage. Deceptively spacious, with a welcoming cottage garden. Both beds are super-comfy and the en-suite shower is a good size and pressure. I can well imagine that the cottage would be equally welcoming in the winter - with the log-burner lit! Having some decent pubs with good food only a short walk away is a bonus.

We had a lovely time at Mendip View, it is such a convenient location for many sites and towns, not to mention the village of Wedmore itself. My only regret was that the weather prevented us enjoying the beautiful garden as much as I wanted - need to book another stay.

Very comfortable stay in such a pretty home. Comfy beds and great shower/bath facilities. Situated on a fairly quiet lane and not far to walk to cafes, pubs and shops. Easy commuting distance to Wells, Glastonbury, Cheddar, Taunton, Bath, etc. The dogs loved the garden for morning stretches on the grass and watching the red squirrel in the tree.

Lovely cottage quiet location but easily accessible to all main towns / villages. Cottage well equiped. Definitely will return to area and the cottage. Advice doing the two short wedmore walks to see the old part of the village and learn bit of history.
