Rural location, great for peace and quiet and good base for walkers/ramblers. Easy access to Cotswold villages. Probably not suitable for less mobile folk as stairs up to lounge and kitchen and further stairs up to third bedroom

A lovely cottage in a small hamlet next to the river, with an apple orchard opposite. The other cottages are permanently occupied. The sitting-cum-dining area is light and spacious. Blackout is not 100% in any of the bedrooms so a mask is a good idea. Note that the WCs are on the ground and top floors and that there are steepish stairs between the Read morestoreys. Two walks right out of the door, lots of things to see and do in the area. Hide

We had a brilliant time. The location is excellent - perfect for walking as it lies on multiple circular walks, also in walking distance (under 30min?) to Burford. First floor with kitchen/diner/lounge was excellent for our group as we could spend the entire time together, chatting/cooking etc. Bedrooms were spacious - especially loved the top flooRead morer with en-suite. Kitchen very well equipped. Would certainly highly recommend. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay with the family. The children were 3 and 7 so ok with the stairs, not so great with younger children. We would have liked a garden, I just assumed there would be one. It wasnt really a problem because we were out most of the time.
