We loved the Lodge & the location. So quiet, apart from the amazing birdsong and the brook. Lovely that the village has a good pub (potentially 2 more) and we heartily recommend the Tudor Farmhouse. Superb walks around Symonds Yat, the Wye Valley & the Forest of Dean.

A beautiful lodge in a stunning location. The veranda was great to sit under no matter what the weather and just listen to the birds and running stream. Its ideal location meant we were able to visit numerous places within a 30 minute drive. We will definitely go back to visit the area more as a week just wasnt enough!

A very nice property, well furnished and very well equipped. Its location on the edge of the village and in easy reach of the attractions of the area and Coleford is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful, tranquil week away. Great lodge in a perfect location with everything you need for a home from home. In terms of location we cant fault this property. The surrounding area is beautiful and easily accessible. Unfortunately there were issues that made the stay less enjoyable. The lodge was in a good location, surrounded by some good things to do if you don't have a dog. We had a dog so had to travel out. During our stay there was a fly problem, we would come back to around 50 dead flies in the bedroom and shower upstairs.. very off putting.
