Marine house with stunning sea views across Torbay from the property’s third-floor roof garden, located just a short walk from the sea front and Brixham town centre.

Situated in the town of Brixham, this property makes a fantastic base for exploring the picturesque English Riviera. The whole area of Torbay, comprising Brixham, Torquay, and Paignton has much to offer visitors, including boat trips, beautiful beaches, well-regarded seafood restaurant, a steam railway, museums, and even a zoo. The property is situated close to the breakwater in Brixham, a magnificent 0.5 mile structure which stretches out from the beach, offering bracing walks across the waves, and wonderful panoramic views of the bay and back to the town itself.

On entering this property, guests will find themselves in the ground-floor entrance hall. Stairs lead to the open-plan living area on the first floor, where sofas in the lounge area are positioned to allow guests to enjoy the spectacular views out to sea. Patio doors open onto the balcony, making it easy to take drinks outside and enjoy the sea air. The kitchen/diner which overlooks the lounge area is accessed via a short flight of five steps, and is well-equipped with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher. There is also a useful cloakroom WC on this level. Open-tread stairs lead to the second floor, where there are three bedrooms, all of which are finished to the same high standard as the living area. The master bedroom is a spacious double room with a large fitted wardrobe and sea views, whilst there is also a twin room, and a peaceful single room. The bathroom, which can also be found on the second floor, has a shower-over-bath, WC. Along this hallway, you can find the washing machine and tumble dryer in useful cupboard. A further set of stairs leads to the roof garden on the top floor.

Outside, the property benefits from a wonderful roof garden, laid with astroturf,  which offers unrivalled views across the bay, and as far as Exmouth. There is garden furniture provided here, allowing guests to enjoy alfresco meals and drinks. On the first floor, accessed through the lounge’s patio door is a wide balcony which also has patio seating. There is off-road driveway parking available for one car at the front of the house, with an additional space to the side of the property.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

  • Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.

The house was lovely and clean with plenty of utensils and even a telescope and binoculars to use on the wonderful roof terrace.The view was fantastic and the house was spacious and beautifully laid out we had loads of room and the beds were wonderfully comfortable.The house is set on a hill ( which gives the great views ) but we found the 15 minutRead morees walk into town no problem .All in all we all loved both the house and Brixhsm Hide

Lovely spacious property close to brixham town and berry head. Fabulous views from master bedroom and the roof top garden which was an extra treat in the sunny weather .

We have lost count of the number of visits we have made to this lovely property in Brixham. Bright, spacious and well equipped. Walking distance to town (up hill on the way back) and easy access to coastal walks. A very chilled place to stay.

Very nice place but not for elderly who have trouble with stairs. Very good location, clean and well stocked kitchen for cooking. Superb views from lounge, main bedroom and roof garden. Lovely property in a great location with wonderful views. Walking distance to town, restaurants, shops etc and although a bit of a steep walk back, not a problem even for us unfit fifty-somethings! The balcony was brilliant - we had breakfasts up there ... in March ... and evening drinks looking out at that amazing view. Lovely property with stunning views ! Great location as the harbour is only a short walk. Everything you need for your holiday. Brixham is great too we had a lovely walk up to berry head where there is a wonderful cafe. I would recommend this holiday property to everyone ! Thank you.
