One-of-two properties located in the picturesque village of West Lulworth, a historic fishing village next to the beautiful Lulworth Cove, and just a thirty-minute walk to the iconic Durdle Door.

This property is located in the village of West Lulworth within the World Heritage Jurassic Area of Natural Beauty. There are a number of shops in the village, including a choice of restaurants, and a visitor centre. The sheltered pebble beach, is popular not only with swimmers, but is also a great spot for diving and rock-pooling. A coastal path leads west from Lulworth Cove around to the stunning iconic scenery of Durdle Door, a sight not to be missed. Meanwhile, away from the coast, there is plenty to see and do inland as well, including Corfe Castle, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkeyworld, and the interesting town of Dorchester with its collection of unusual museums.

This contemporary property is located in the pretty coastal village of West Lulworth. Upon entry, the first thing that guests will find are two ground-floor bedrooms: a relaxing double room, and a restful twin. The property’s main bathroom is also on this floor and has a shower-over-bath and WC. The washing machine is also handily located on the ground floor. Taking the stairs to the first floor, guests will find the light-filled, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge area is a great space in which to unwind, with its inviting armchairs and sofa, TV, and DVD. Glass doors separate the lounge area from the kitchen/diner, a bright space with patio doors leading out to the patio, next to which is the dining table. As you would expect from a contemporary property, the kitchen is well-equipped and offers an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. A further flight of stairs leads up to the second floor, where the master bedroom suite can be found. This king-size room is a wonderfully peaceful space in the eaves of the house, but the sloping ceilings do mean that there is some reduced head-height on this floor. The en-suite bathroom to this room boasts a double-ended bath, separate shower, and WC a further adjoining twin room can make this level a family suite if desired. French windows from the kitchen/diner lead out onto the property’s first-floor balcony which leads onto a delightful patio area with garden furniture. This, in turn, gives way to a lawn garden which offers views to nearby Hambury Tout. Please note, the lawn area is quite steep and children will need careful supervision. There is for two cars, with additional parking available on the nearby slip road.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Good position for Lulworth Cove and coastal walks to Durdle Door and beyond.

Tess Corner was a great place to stay. Eight of us were able to stay comfortably for a week and there was plenty of space. The facilities were good and the location was excellent as it was just a short stroll down to the cove.

Great location in the village with an easy walk to the cove with all the amenities it has to offer. The views are beautiful and the living area on the middle floor is bright and spacious. An ideal cottage and location for a wedding at Lulworth Castle. With its light and airy living space, it provided a comfortable base to bring family members together for a holiday and the upstairs suite of 2 interconnecting rooms with en-suite bathroom was ideal for a family group with young children.

This was our second stay at this delightful cottage and we could not wait to return. As with the first visit everything was fantastic . The property is light , spacious, well equipped and extremely cosy whilst having wonderful views from every window. Our two small grandsons loved the fact they could see a cow staring in at them from the lounge?
