This property enjoys an enviable location to the east side of Brixham town centre, just a short downhill walk to the town’s marina and the gardens of Furzeham Green. The coastal path runs very close to the property, allowing guests easy access to walks around the bay and to one of the town’s quieter beaches, Fishcombe Cove. To the west side of the town, there are several other beaches including Shoalstone beach with its tidal pool, and the secluded St Mary’s Bay. Why not take to the water and hop on board one of the pleasure boats or join one of the chartered fishing trips? Those who enjoy browsing the shops and sampling the local eateries will enjoy an afternoon spent window shopping and eating in one of the numerous restaurants or pubs, many of which specialise in the local seafood.
On arrival at this property, guests pass the front patioed seating area before coming to the front door which opens into the open-plan lounge/diner. There are spectacular views of the harbour to be enjoyed from this room; both from the dining table and the comfy sofa (which can be converted to two single beds if required), and of course there is a TV here too. The kitchen is situated to the rear of the property, accessed via two steps up from the lounge. Guests can easily make themselves at home here, as it is easy to find everything they will need including an oven, hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher and washing machine. The first of the property’s two bedrooms can be found on the first floor; a twin room with a single bed and truddle pull out below. This room has a den area with a TV and games console which is separated from the sleeping area by a curtain, and makes a great room for younger guests to enjoy their own space. The shower room, with walk-in shower and WC is also located on the first floor. The master bedroom can be found on the second floor, accessed via the twin room and offers a king-size bed, spectacular sea views, and a door which leads out to the decked seating area.
Outside, there is a terrace with table and chairs to the front of the property, as well as the decked patio area accessed via the second-floor bedroom. Both of these spaces offer a relaxing place to sit back and take in the sea air, whilst watching the comings and goings in the harbour from the front terrace.
