Three storey marine house situated directly opposite Brixham’s Breakwater Beach, with stunning views across Torbay to be enjoyed from many of the rooms, and the property’s seafront balcony.

This property is located at the end of a no-through road, just seconds from Brixham’s main beach, Breakwater Beach, which is named after the town’s impressive 0.5 mile long breakwater which gives visitors the wonderful opportunity to walk out across the waves and look back at the town itself. It is also a popular spot for fishing and there is a café where you can get a bite to eat. The focus of the town is the busy harbour, which is not only home to the town’s fishing fleet, but is also the starting point for a number of pleasure trips around the bay, which is a delightful way for visitors to spend a few hours: if they are lucky, they may even spot the dolphins who visit Torbay from time to time.

On arrival at this property, guests can leave their car in the covered car port before entering the house, where they will find the ground floor bedroom. This is a king-size room which benefits not only from an en-suite shower room with WC, but also from a private balcony with table and chairs overlooking the seafront and Brixham’s breakwater. Taking the stairs to the first floor, guests will find the open-plan living space which comprises a spacious lounge/diner, and kitchen to the rear of the property. The space has been lovingly styled and the owners have created a restful light-filled space, which has the added benefit of large windows and a patio door opening onto the balcony. The lounge area is at the seafront side of the room, with its comfortable seating, TV, and DVD, whilst the dining table is set towards the rear of the room. The kitchen includes an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Two more bedrooms, both king-size rooms are situated on the second floor of the house, one of which offers spectacular panoramic sea views. The shower room on this floor has a large walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, there are two separate balconies with seating from which guests can sit and watch the ever-changing scenery of the beach and the sea. There is a private car port for one car on the ground floor of the property.

This is the 3rd time weve stayed in Breakwater and we loved the upgraded kitchen and new dishwasher. Also the new carpets in the bedrooms. A thoroughly enjoyable week.

This was our second consecutive year staying at the Breakwater. the updated kitchen was very good now with a dishwasher, washing machine and a large fridge freezer. There were 6 adults plus 2 grandchildren under 3 years old and we had plenty of room. The views are stunning!!! This accommodation is furnished to a basic standard. It is clean, and has the necessary equipment for most catering needs. Access to Heath Road is advised from the Berry Head end. The access from Heath Road to the rear of the property took us some finding as we approached from the town end when following the instructions provided. Had a lovely time in this house. Everything we needed. Short walk into the town (hill up/down). Only real down to the house sofas not comfy at all. But lovely comfy beds and great shower. And best of all fantastic veiw.

An enjoyable holiday. Sitting on the balcony in the sun, looking at the activity in the marina/harbour was most relaxing. The only problem with had was dealt with quickly and sympathetically. The long set of uneven steps down to the harbour was a problem for us, and the alternative was a lengthy, hilly trip via the road.

A good property which has obviously had some recent refurbishment. Great shower room on the top floor. Modern kitchen, all clean and well equipped. The location of this accommodation is amazing but you do need to be fit to walk to the beach and back due to the hill but this was fine for us. The only downside is the bedroom and en-suite on the ground floor which is in need of improvement. The other bathroom was lovely with a window in the ceiling.

The location was really good and easy to get into Brixham. The view was outstanding, absolutely amazing! I feel the accommodation needs some money spent and some TLC as lots of little let downs. The sofas are absolutely awful and not at all comfortable. Spacewise really good, upstairs bathroom really lovely with a great shower. Parking under the prRead moreoperty which was a bonus. I would recommend sitting out on the balcony watching the comings and goings of the harbour. Hide

After a very long journey, 8 hours, the view across the bay made the journey worthwhile. The short cut down to the promenade was handy, although we were made aware of the steep steps involved. (only for physically abled) There is plenty of cupboard space and the rooms are spacious.
