Perfectly situated you will be nestled next to the quiet beach at Fishcombe Cove and within walking distance to the north of Brixham's town centre following the South West Coastal Path and through the town’s Battery Park. Here you will find a quaint harbour surrounded by an assortment of colourful cottages, seafood restaurants, cafes, shops and pubs. There are also an array of amenities and activities in the area such as fishing, golf, beaches, water sports and an open-air sea water lido at Shoalstone. Head out further and explore the rest of the ever popular English Riviera and picturesque South Hams, which could include a drive to Kingswear where you can take the ferry across the water to popular Dartmouth. Other attractions easily accessible from here include Agatha Christie's Greenway House, Paignton Zoo Environmental Park, Dartmoor National Park and the stunning cathedral city of Exeter.

Step inside this pretty property via the furnished decked veranda and you will find yourself in the beautifully decorated and light living area. This fabulously sociable open-plan space comprises a lounge, kitchen and dining area and here is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out for a day exploring. The cosy lounge area boasts comfortable sofas sat in front of a TV and DVD, warming wood burner effect electric fire, and you can relax upon your return and watch a film or enjoy a good book. A compact yet perfectly appointed kitchen completes the offering in this room and boasts a great range of appliances including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. Venture further inside and you will then discover the pretty bedrooms, both lovingly furnished in a light and fresh aesthetic. The first is a stylish double room which offers a TV and patio doors opening onto a rear decked terrace where you can enjoy a morning coffee, and the second bedroom a homely twin. A contemporary shower room with a large walk-in shower and WC is the final room inside the property.

  • Due to the current situation, the only facilities that are not available at the moment are the children's play area and the swimming pool, The indoor swimming pool will be open on the 25th July, following government guidelines and the holiday park rules.

A clean and cosy chalet in a great location. Ten mins walk in to Brixham and ideally located for trips to Dartmouth, Paignton and Torquay. The park itself is quiet and of tidy appearance. We had a lovely stay at The Little Plaice in August. The kitchen was the best equipped we have ever come across in self catering accommodation. The welcome pack was a lovely touch when we arrived. The views from the property are amazing! The onsite bar was not the best, not a lot of social distancing was happening there. Lovely little holiday home! Great view from the front of the property and you can sit in the sun with your breakfast then later in the day you have the sun on the back decking where you can chill out in the peace & quiet. Great location for Brixham and all surrounding areas. Very steep walks in all directions so not good for anyone with restricted Read moremobility. Would recommend for a UK stay. Hide

The property was spotless and very comfortable. We liked the welcome pack on arrival. The view from the lounge area was spectacular as was the walk into Brixham through the Battery Gardens. It was ideally situated for sightseeing and extremely convenient with parking immediately outside. Highly recommended - We would revisit without hesitation.

Immaculately clean and tidy on arrival and nicely decorated. Little arrival pack included with what you'd need to make a cuppa and have a biscuit, nice touch although we'd been to supermarket on the way so not needed. Place was very well equipped in kitchen and with cleaning stuff. Not a criticism of the cottage but stuff we forgot to bring which wRead moreas needed was toilet roll (there was one on arrival thankfully!) bath mat, hand and teatowels. Perfect property in quiet sea view location. Good size bedrooms and living area and very usable decking front and back to catch sun all times of day. Use of adjoining holiday park absolute bonus especially the swimming pool. 10 mins walking distance to Brixham and two nearby coves with lots of benches to rest or take in wonderful views on the way.

This was our second time staying at the Little Plaice. As before it was lovely and clean, the property is situated in a great place ( the walk into Brixham via Battery gardens is only about 10 minutes and has stunning views across the bay) We hope to come back again later in the year for another lovely holiday

This was the perfect base for our holiday from start to finish. On arrival there was a welcome pack of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and milk. The beds were already made up and there were full instructions of how things worked. Lovely view out of the front window of the bay.
