Located in a peaceful cul-de-sac, this is an excellent choice for young families. A 300-metre walk will bring you to Brixham’s bustling harbour, where boat trips can be enjoyed and freshly caught seafood is available in abundance from the many local restaurants, cafes and shops. Once you have finished exploring the harbour and town, take to the coast path to marvel at the breath-taking views and enjoy a stroll to nearby Fishcombe Cove.

Beautifully renovated throughout, this property boasts high ceilings, wooden floors, an original feature fireplace and plenty of natural light through the extensive windows. At the front of the house, a sunny lounge boasts wooden flooring, a Victorian feature fireplace, two leather sofas, a Smart TV and dining table set into a large bay window to provide a meal with a view. The kitchen is chic and stylish, offering a light, bright and contemporary space in which to prepare meals. Here you will find an oven, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. To the rear of the house is a large garden laid to lawn, bordered by high fencing and original stone walls, perfect for young children and dogs. To the front of the house there is ample off-road parking to fit two cars or a boat.

  • Brixham is busy fishing village situated on a very steep hill, so access to some parts of the village can be challenging.
  • Many of the amenities and cottages in Brixham are accessed via steps some of which can be steep.

  • There are many small winding streets that are not suitable for cars
  • There will be no house access possible until 4pm on the day of arrival, but guests who arrive early are invited to park their vehicle on the driveway from the 11am time that the departing guests have to vacate
  • The owners regret that no form of 'Welcome Pack' can be provided as they do not live in Devon and as the cleaners are unable to do so
  • This property will be decorated for Christmas
  • Arrival: 16:00 onwards
  • Departure: before 10:00, unless otherwise stated in your arrival details
  • 2 dogs allowed. Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week

This is our second time here, the first being a good few years ago. i dont think you can beat the location, you may not get a view of the harbour but there is a seaview and a flat stroll to the harbour side and also near to Berry Head and Breakwater. the driveway parking is great as is the enclosed garden. very comfortable and reasonably equipped

Very close to the shops and restaurants a few steps and slight hill. The bungalow was very comfortable. The narrow entrance to the street can be avoided as there is another way around.

This home had everything you need to make your stay perfect. Lovely quiet area within easy walk to Brixham Harbour and the lovely bars and restaurants etc . Will happily stay here again

Comfortable and reasonably well equipt. Excellent location for the harbour and local area. Big bonus having 2 decent parking spaces at the front of the property! Would definitely return.

This was the second time we stayed at this beautiful bungalow and it did not disappoint. Our dogs loved the big spacious garden and with only a stones throw from the harbour. Definitely home from home with all the equipment you need for a perfect stay.

We had a wonderful holiday in Brixham at Newlands. It was a beautifully presented bungalow and very comfortable. The garden was a lovely suntrap and very peaceful. Great for our dog. The view from the front window was amazing.

A lovely two bedroom end Bungalow in a wonderful location . This is our 6th. Visit which says it all . To sit at the table in the Bay Window to have your meal , read or do whatever hobby you enjoy is sheer magic .What more can I say ! We keep returning .

Excellent accommodation ideally situated for all amenities. Very tranquil surroundings with beautiful views all around. Lovely enclosed garden area ideal for alfresco. Shops, restaurants, beach all within 10 mins walk. Accommodation really spacious and well equipped. Would definitely stay here again

Fantastic views, we have stayed in Devon and Cornwall on many occasions, but this position beats them all . Only downside is the Harbour shops and seafood stalls close to early.
