The property is very characterful, and effectively open from the ground to second floor. It has steep staircases and not is suitable for young children or people who will struggle with them. The garden is beautiful but does not have a "play" space.

The cottage is quirky and full of character. Very comfortable and had everything we needed. With river fishing included it was ideal. The weather wasn't great but still caught a grayling! Great base for a holiday with lots to do within an hours drive. Would love to return soon. Hosts were very helpful but not intrusive.

The cottage was beautiful. Loads of character with lots of old furniture and bric a brac, which could have gathered dust but was in fact immaculate. Garden was stunning. Lenka and Richard couldn't have been more welcoming and showed us around the other cottages on the site, which were also gorgeous. Highly recommend!

We stayed for a week as a party of five adults. The area is beautiful and the mill house is only a few minutes from Bala for everyday shopping. The mill itself is beautiful. A very calming place to stay, but not ideal for small children because of the stairs. Lenka was friendly and helpful and always on hand if needed. Thank you
