We had a great time and really loved the position of the cottage; it was in a quaint village and had access to a lovely family butchers and pubs. We felt welcomed by the locals and enjoyed relaxing in the Old Ship. For us, the bed was a little small and there was a lack of storage space. Not the cleanest of cottages we have stayed in.

The cottage was perfect for two people - plenty of equipment, full size cooker, oven, fridge and the freezer was useful as well. Heating worked and was easy to switch on and off. The Freesat Humax TV box was a real bonus and was very easy to programme. Key safe was easy to use. Great butcher in the village and the Woollen Mill is a must. This is a small, cosy, romantic cottage, very close to the Fairy falls - you can hear the falls when the windows are open. It also has a lovely wood burner (lots of logs provided!) The stairs are very steep with no handrail, and the shower rooms are narrow so I would not recommend this property for larger people, or those with walking difficulties.

Lovely warm cosy cottage, great location for many activities. Good facilities and parking space big enough for a van.

Lovely cottage for a restful few days. The cottage is very easy to find from the directions. Everything was provided to a high standard and the housekeeping information was excellent. I would definitely recommend this to any couple wanting a relaxing holiday
