Bretforton is a traditional working village, it has a vibrant community and is well served with a well-established National Trust village inn, community store and year round events calendar that includes the annual asparagus auction, the Proms in the Park, the Bretforton Village Show and Open Gardens. The surrounding countryside is breath-taking and offers a glut of well way-marked paths for walkers of all abilities. Also, a short drive from Shakespeare’s birthplace with attractions to include Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Hall’s Croft, Mary Arden’s Farm and the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. Visit many of the Cotswold villages and market towns. With many National Trust properties nearby you’ll be spoilt for choice with gardens and houses open throughout the year.

Step off the main street and into this charming cottage. The lounge offers a warm welcome with the inglenook fireplace with wood burner taking centre stage. It is the perfect compliment to a chilly autumn evening watching a good movie and enjoying a glass of wine, the colourful soft furnishings complement the furniture. For a simple supper in front of the wood burner there is a small table and chairs. Continue through the cottage to the kitchen, traditional in style and well-equipped with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. At the end of the day climb the cottage stairs where you will find a king-size bedroom with exposed beams and views onto the high street. There is a further dressing room with room for a travel cot and access to a bathroom with shower over bath and WC.

Take a step outside into the enclosed courtyard with bistro table and chairs, a perfect place to retreat with a favourite book or glass of wine on a summer evening. There is roadside parking on the main street, subject to availability.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

A really comfortable, cosy cottage in the heart of this delightful village. A very short walk to The Fleece pub for really good food and ales. Being dog friendly was an added bonus to find such a lovely property located near to many attractions and scenic walks.

An absolutely beautiful cottage. The welcome pack was awesome. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept on. Beautiful bathroom with lots of towels etc. Kitchen was very well equipped. Netflix on the tele was a welcome bonus too. One of the best places we have stayed in

A really lovely pretty cottage in a lovely village the welcome pack for both us and our cockapoo was amazing the bed was so comfy we slept like babies we will definitely be going back, the fleece pub did fantastic meals worth a visit.

Absolutely fabulous just didn't disappoint in any way and a very generous welcome pack to start us off even down to treats for our dog- everything was provided. Such a lovely location with lovely walks around the village and a great base for exploring the Cotswolds and the Evesham area highly recommend.

Fabulous cottage in the heart of small village. We loved the welcome basket ..wine and homemade mince pies for us and doggie blankets and treats for our fur kids. Everything was sparkling clean and was great to find lots of extras in cupboards. Log fire was ready to light when we got there. The oweners thought of everything.
