Attractions for all ages and tastes can be found locally and guests may choose to enjoy days out either at the stunning Suffolk Heritage Coast where the towns of Southwold, Walberswick and Aldeburgh all offer something different, or alternatively head up to the Norfolk Broads which is best explored by day boat. Scenic countryside walks are in abundance and nature lovers will find a trip to RSPB Minsmere a worthwhile excursion. The property offers an alternative to camping for the nearby music festivals.

Upon entering the bright and airy hallway with reclaimed brick flooring from the original stables, coat rack and handy shoe storage, guests will walk through to the delightful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The full height ceiling and stone flooring give this room a spacious feeling while the freestanding wood burner provides a cosy, intimate atmosphere on colder nights. The comfortable sofas offer a great place to relax in front of the Smart TV and the table and chairs a place to dine. The well-equipped kitchen provides everything required for holiday dining including an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. The main bedroom comfortably accommodates the double bed and bedroom furniture and the second bedroom offers guests flexibility with twin beds. Finishing the accommodation is a contemporary shower room with walk-in shower and WC.

Externally the property is approached by its own tree lined driveway meandering its way to the cottage. An enclosed grassed area to the front creates space for the garden furniture and BBQ so guests can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining or a glass of wine on a summers evening while gazing out over fields and farmland. There is also a two acre enclosed garden to explore and parking for two cars.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

The cottage is nicely converted and situated in a quiet location close to the village centre. There are plenty of footpaths close to hand so we didn't need a car to walk the dogs or start exploring the countryside. In Covid times, many of the pubs need to be booked in advance but we found Mrs T's fish and chips on the quayside at Southwold was hardRead more to beat. This is a gem of a property. Friendly welcoming owners. The cottage is well appointed and the garden is lovely. We liked it so much we are going again.... Twice!!

Enjoyed the stay. Very nice Cottage. Lovely old Village and Church Plenty to see in the area. Nice welcome from Lesley the owner. The very dog-friendly garden also where ever we went to visit Dogs were welcomed. Ps A very comfortable Bed. A visit to Snape Maltings is recommended there is a lovely Theater at the Maltings. Lovely clean cottage. Owner very friendly and helpful ... happy to recommend local dog walks and places to visit. We had four nights there but wish we had stayed longer.

Lovely place to stay, nice village with a shop. The property was comfortable it had everything we needed, The garden is enclosed ,so was ideal for our dog. The only issue was the light waking us early in the morning, thick curtains would solve this. We were made very welcome. we would recommend this place.

The owner Lesley greeted us on arrival, very friendly and informative. The cottage is very comfortable and beautifully designed. We (family of four and one dog), booked a short stay and would definitely return for a longer holiday as the cottage, village and surrounding area is peaceful for a country break. Highly recommended.
