Explore many footpaths and cycle routes from the cottage doorstep in the village of Ysbyty Ifan, part of Snowdonia National Park. Nearby Betws-y-Coed is well known for outdoor activities, craft, shops, galleries, pubs and historic bridges over rivers and streams. Discover waterfalls, river pools and hill top lakes alongside the majestic mountains and dense woodland. Enjoy walking, climbing, canoeing, kayaking and fishing in breath-taking scenery. Climb Snowdon’s Summit, visit Surf Snowdonia, the Zip World Caverns and Go Below for adventures. Take a trip to Conwy Falls and Swallow Falls, pop to Dolwyddelan Castle, Conwy Castle and National Trusts Bodnant Gardens. This is an all year destination, with so much to see and do, perfect for an active or relaxing holiday.

A single storey 18th century stone cottage with underfloor heating and all the thoughtful little extras for your comfort. The front door opens in to the cosy lounge, with inglenook fireplace and substantial wood burner, it is beautifully furnished with a comfortable sofa, TV, iPod, iPod docking station and interesting artwork throughout. The bespoke kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, small freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer with the dining table to the one side. If you decide to eat in, the kitchen has all the equipment you need to rustle up a meal, let the outside in and open the stable door to listen to birdsong as you plan your activities over breakfast. After a full day out, retire to one of the two bedrooms. Make the most of the contemporary shower room with shower and WC.

This former almshouse is the end of a row of three benefitting with the open aspect garden laid to lawn, patio area, bistro table and chairs. A perfect spot for al fresco dining and to embrace the views over the pretty village with stone bridge and river. Private parking for one car and lockable bike and canoe store. Gorgeous cottage in a really peaceful village ca. 10 min drive from Betws Y Coed Cottage really well equipped (Wifi, TV, Dishwasher, Kitchenware etc) Really cosy cottage with more than enough space for us (couple) and our Golden Retriever Would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay in this fantastic cottage . It was beautifully decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. Everything catered for. Location in a National Trust village. Plenty to see and do in this part of wales. We had a great time and would highly recommend this cottage .

The cottage was absolutely cosy, and clean and tidy throughout in a little village. If you looking for peace and quiet it's ideal. Also it's close to places to visit of interest . Highly recommended.

Fantastic, well presented stone cottage in a stunning peaceful area. Exceptionally clean and well equipped with parking at the side. The log burner completed the cosy, relaxed atmosphere and everything was wonderful Just a short drive to Betws-Y-Coen the most idyllic village with plenty of stunning walks along the river. This cottage is situated in a very beautiful area. Peaceful, relaxing and the perfect base to explore all areas of North Wales and Anglesey or to just enjoy the surrounding area. We would definitely like to stay again in the future.

Beautiful little cottage. Well equipped for us to make dinners and breakfasts. Set in a really lovely village with great views as you drive though the national park (right out of cottage). A great place to escape the hustle of a city. Thank you.

Very clean and comfortable. Every thing you needed. Shower room very small and really cold, but it was October. No phone signal at property. Not bad location, Betws y Coed was about a ten minute drive.

We absolutely loved our stay for the week so much that we have booked the same week for next year too. The village is so pretty like a postcard and my daughter loved the park nearby. I loved sitting out on the patio in the front garden to have a coffee and felt very relaxed with a beautiful view of the countryside. It was a great base for exploringRead more new places too. Beautiful location. Cottage is not big but has everything you need, except controllable heating so we found it a bit cold and damp. Well equiped kitchen. Plenty of wonderful walks from the front door.
