This apartment is situated in the Meads Village area of Eastbourne, which is located to the western side of the town, has its own thriving community, whilst still being only a ten-minute bus ride from Eastbourne town centre. The nearest beach is less than a five-minute walk away and as it is tucked away is far more tranquil than the town’s main beach. No visitor will want to miss the chance to take a walk up to Beachy Head with its spectacular sea views, and it is only a pleasant fifty-minute walk from the property via the South Downs Way. Keen walkers may like to continue past Beachy Head and on towards the flood plains of Cuckmere Haven.

From the communal hallway, step into this bright and airy ground-floor apartment. The first room that guests will come to is the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Patio doors flood this space with light and open onto the courtyard garden. To one end of the room, the lounge area has comfortable seating as well as a TV for guests to enjoy after a day at the beach or sightseeing. At the far end of the room, the kitchen area is contemporarily styled and is equipped with an oven, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine, and there is a pull out dining table and chairs. A door leads from here to the bedroom, a king-size room which benefits from a second set of patio doors which, again, lead out to the patio area. The apartment’s small shower room has a shower and WC.

Outside, there is an enclosed patio which runs the length of the apartment, from where a set of steps leads up to a decked seating area with table and chairs. A permit for one car is provided for the roadside parking outside the apartment.

The flat is fine just a bit tight In places especially the bathroom. The courtyard would be a nice place to sit if the owner had the place cleared of weeds. Parking is a issue but on road parking always is.

Great apartment, ideal situation in lovely residential area. Parking permit was great to have. Local shops good. Bed comfortable, lovely to have outside space to sit, lounge/kitchen great for our needs. It was good to come back to after a day out and about. Good places to eat in the area and beyond. Plenty of walking both country and coastal.

The apartment is in a very good location for shops, restaurants etc. It was clean and comfortable. However it is very 'compact' so you need to pack light. It's not ideal if you want to do much cooking - the kitchen equipment is limited.

A modern ground floor flat situated in a quiet area 1.5 miles from the pier where I felt safe and comfortable. There are shops very close by so easy to self cater. Bathroom small and a bit awkward otherwise fine. Parking on road but permit provided.

Good location for local pub, restaurants, tea rooms, supermarket, all practically on the door step. Nice accommodation, clean and airy.
