Elegant first-floor apartment sleeping up to two guests, enjoying an enclosed patio garden, and located just a short walk from Eastbourne’s seafront, with easy access to South Downs National Park.

This property is located on a residential street overlooking Saffrons Cricket Ground, just a short walk to Eastbourne town centre, with views of the South Downs. The seafront is a gentle twenty-minute walk from the apartment, with its popular beach which is shingled at high tide, but gives way to sand at low tide. The splendid Victorian Pier has been lovingly restored since it was devastated by fire in 2014 and offers a range of attractions including a jazz lounge, tea rooms, and a traditional fish and chip shop. A great selection of restaurants and quirky independent shops in the Little Chelsea area of the town are five minutes walk away. To the west of the town, and easily accessible on foot from the apartment, is the start of the South Down’s Way, with Beachy Head and its breath-taking vistas located within an hour’s walk from the property.

This well-appointed first-floor apartment, situated within the owner's house, has its own entrance on the ground floor of the building which opens onto a hallway from where a staircase leads to the main accommodation. The first thing that guests will notice is the bay window in the lounge/diner which looks across to the neighbouring cricket ground. The dining table is positioned in the window to make the best of those views and the light, whilst in the lounge area there are two inviting sofas (one of which is a sofa-bed which can accommodate two guests by special arrangement). There is an attractive feature-fireplace in the room, as well as a TV/DVD for guests to enjoy. The kitchen is located just off the lounge, offering an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine. The property’s one bedroom is a restful double room which benefits from a stylish contemporary wet room with large walk-in shower and WC.

Outside, to the side of the property, there is a secluded enclosed garden which is partially set to shingle, with a decked seating area where guests will find a table and chairs. Parking is unrestricted in the road outside, subject to availability.

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Excellent accommodation for a couple in splendid location walkable to sea front and shopping areas. Kitchen, bathroom and lounge extras were a good touch - Sky & Netflix especially. Lin was an excellent hostess and always willing to ensure a good holiday. Very well recommended.

We found the appartment roomy, comfortable and well-equipped. It was pleasant to be able to sit in the garden and soak up the sun. It was quiet at night, although it is convenient for the town centre. Parking is easy on the road close by. There are shops, bars and cafes a short walk away.

Great location. The apartment had everything we needed and was clean. Ideal for a perfect visit to Eastbourne near the seafront and restaurants. The kitchen was great and had all the equipment you require.

Wonderful apartment with everything you need for a holiday. Its situated just a short walk from the beach, shops and the Downs which makes this an ideal location, so pleased we chose to stay here :)

The landlady was very friendly. The apartment is very close to all facilities and parking outside was very good. It was clean and comfortable and that is the most important thing when you are away from home.

We had a great time at this elegant, attractively furnished and newly decorated apartment. The sunlight floods in. It's in a very attractive area, and conveniently situated. Restaurants are open, however we prefer to eat at home - we were pleased to find high quality equipment, everything we needed. Thank you!
