Contemporary three-storey townhouse situated within the prestigious Sovereign Marina development in the seaside resort town of Eastbourne, just the place to holiday with family or friends

This beautiful property is situated within the Sovereign Marina complex, to the eastern side of Eastbourne. A gated development with a mixture of townhouses and apartments clustered around the bustling harbour, this is a really special part of town, with a fantastic range of restaurants and bars right on the doorstep of the property, as well as a multiplex cinema showing all the latest films. Other places of interest within easy reach of the property include the quiet beach at Pevensey Bay, Eastbourne’s impressive Redoubt Fortress, and the magnificent South Downs National Park, including Beachy Head, which lies just west of the town and offers some of the south coast’s most breath-taking scenery.

On the ground floor of this property, guests first pass through a hall which leads onto the open-plan kitchen/diner. This spacious room is a wonderful space for enjoying meals together, with its large dining table and well-equipped kitchen offering an double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, Nespresso coffee machine, 4-slice toaster, dishwasher, and washing machine. Two sets of double doors lead from this room into the bright and sunny conservatory which provides an additional space in which to relax and enjoy one another’s company. For additional storage there is a large coat cupboard in the hall. There is a downstairs cloakroom off the hall, and stairs lead to the first floor, where the generously-sized lounge is located. This contemporary-styled room has two large sofas allowing plenty of room for family get togethers, with TV and DVD player. There is also a twin bedroom on the first floor, as well as a shower room which offers a shower and WC. Taking the stairs to the second floor, guests will find two further bedrooms. The first of these is the attractive master suite, which offers a king-size bed, an en-suite shower and WC, and affords far-reaching views to the sea. The third bedroom is a restful double room which benefits from patio doors opening onto a Juliet balcony. The main bathroom is also on this floor, offering a bath, handheld shower, and WC.

Outside, there is a good-sized patio garden which is accessed through the conservatory. This pleasant, sunny space has a large dining table and chairs, and thanks to its location close to the kitchen, is the perfect space for relaxing over long al fresco lunches or maybe even cocktails as the sun goes down. There is off-road parking for two cars to the front of the property.

This was a good place to stay. The 3 floor house was reasonably comfortable apart from the soft double beds, which gave us both backaches. The house is well equipped, although there were no dressing tables or chairs in any of the bedrooms. The property was well maintained and clean with some good walks around the harbour to the cafe and eateries. ERead moreastbourne is a 15 minute drive, Hastings 30 minutes. Hide

Lovely house in a great quiet gated location. Just a short stroll to all the restaurants etc in the harbour and the beach in the other direction. Also just a short drive from both Eastbourne and Pevensey.

Ideally located for a quiet section of the beach. Good location for getting out and about although a little noisy from traffic and party goers on the weekend evenings/nights. (Rear backs onto a main estate road) A lovely property chosen for its selection of amenities but sadly the water leak through the ceiling light in the hallway led to the loss Read moreof use of the first floor bathroom. A lovely house in a great location. It was clean and tidy and we were very comfortable for our holiday. I would definitely recommend this property. If I had one minor criticism it would be that only having 1 set of keys was a little restricting and we would have liked there to be 2 sets to give us more options - but this really was a minor thing.

This property is in a great location with very easy access to harbour and a good choice of restaurants. Disappointed though with the property itself, eg messy patio that clearly hadnt been cleaned or tended to before our arrival

Overall we were happy with this accommodation - it was spacious and nicely located. There were, however, a few things which were disappointing, most importantly the mattresses in the two double bedrooms were, in our opinion, uncomfortable.

Silver Wharf is one of the nicest developments at the Harbour and this house was super. Large and airy with plenty of ground floor space for a large family of 6. The conservatory is an added bonus where the kids could play, read and generally relax.
