First-floor apartment sleeping up to four guests, situated in the artisan quarter of Eastbourne, Little Chelsea, just a short walk from the seafront and the town pier.

Ideally located in the Little Chelsea shopping area of the town, you’re never far from independent shops and cute little cafes, perfect for finding something original to take home as a souvenir. You’ll also find plenty of pubs and bars for a few evening drinks. Take the 10 minute walk down to the pier for an authentic seaside experience, enjoying fish and chips or afternoon tea. A 3 minute walk to the train station will link you to the bustling seaside town of Brighton, only 40 minutes away (21 miles). Here you’ll find a wide range of venues, bars, restaurants and more to fill an exciting long weekend away.This apartment is situated in Eastbourne town centre, in the Little Chelsea area which has built a reputation as the artisan area of the town, with over fifty independent shops, and a fantastic range of bars and restaurants. The beach is just a ten-minute walk away, as is the interesting lifeboat museum, and the nineteenth century Wish Tower with its cafe and sun lounge. Further afield, but still within easy reach of the town, there is plenty to see and do in the area including Beachy Head, and Herstmonceux Castle.

This property is a spacious and stylish first floor apartment which makes a great base from which to explore Eastbourne and surrounding area. Accessed up a flight of stairs from the entrance hall, the apartment opens up into the lounge,  a cosy, light-filled room with a large bay window, two sofas, a dining table, Smart TV, DVD,  and music system with USB input and a record player. An unusual addition to this room are the two single wall-beds which provide extra sleeping space for two guests (this area has a privacy curtain which can be pulled around it). The kitchen is a bright space which is equipped with everything that guests will need for their stay including a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge with ice compartment, dishwasher, and washing machine. There is also a second dining table in the kitchen which is ideal for breakfast. The bedroom is a relaxing king-size room from which a patio door leads out to the decked seating area. The contemporary bathroom, meanwhile, offers a shower over bath, whilst the separate WC is just next door.

Outside, there is a decked seating area with a table and chairs on the same level as the property. Stairs lead down to the garden, which has a second seating area and a small lawn. There is also a bike shed which guests can use should they wish, and roadside parking subject to availability (permit must be requested at the time of booking).

Dogs are charged at £20 each per full or part week.

Great apartment in a super location at the heart of Little Chelsea. Best equiped property we have been too, everything we needed was there. It was very clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. We were pleasantly surprised at the size of the flat. It is nicely furnished and kitchen well equipped and heating worked well. A great location with independent t shops and restaurants' near by and easy walking to the sea. Important to have parking permit for car which can be included in the price. Would be very happy to stay here again.

The apartment is spacious, very comfortable and well equipped. We particularly liked having an outside terrace and lovely small garden to sit in. The location, above a shop, is situated in the heart of Little Chelsea with lots of surrounding cafes, restaurants and independent shops. We really liked the area. It's also an easy walk to the centre of Read moretown and the seafront. Hide

Explain you don't need parking permit on a sunday as you end up 1 short as only provide 6 and need 7! We had a good 15min walk looking for a free space!

Our stay in Little Chelsea was - as ever - great. We were here for the third time and we loved to leave our car standing. You can spend a week or more there and do everything on foot or use public transport. Trains and buses are within walking distance, as are the seafront, the city centre and all the interesting shops and cafs in Little Chelsea.

Nice location for younger couples/friends looking to enjoy the towns pubs, away from the hotels and main tourist spots. Good-sized lounge with a decent vinyl collection available for guest use. Small terrace area nice for drinks.

The apartment itself is perfectly equipped. Generally, the location in Little Chelsea is really good, you are in the middle of town and in a few minutes you are on the beach. 2 people can feel really comfortable in the apartment.

Lovely apartment, very well equipped and spacious. Had a quirky, cool vibe and was very central for all the local shops, bars, train station etc. Would definitely recommend and would like to return. Thanks to the owner.

Very nice well-equipped cottage in a great location. Has something that you need for your vacation. Steep stairs to the apartment and the garden, not suitable for less mobile people.
