The cottage was very comfortable, but sleep would be greatly improved by new mattresses on the double beds. The cottage is well equiped, especially the ktichen. Mixer taps on the sinks would also be am good improvement as the kitchen sink hot water is scolding hot. The bath hot water on the other hand is not hot enough and runs extremely slowly. SoRead moreme hooks in the bathroom and shower room to hang cloths would also improve things. Overall, we hade a very relaxing stay and would consider a return. Hide

What a home away from home. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed including washing up bits and dishwasher tablets, even an ice cream scoop and pizza cutter! Waking up to sheep outside and birdsong was relaxing. There was plenty of room for 7 of us (4 adults and 3 children) and a lovely welcome from Jo with wine and goodies was a nice Read moresurprise. Cottage is ideally located only 10 mins away from Ilfracombe/Combe Martin, we never needed to drive more than 20 minutes as so much nearby. Hide

Warm friendly welcome by the family. Beautiful garden for sunny afternoon tea. It was wonderful to wake up to bleating sheep and look out across hills. So quiet and clear for stargazing at night (dark sky reserve). It was spotlessly clean with soft bedding and pillows. Kitchen well stocked with all equipment you need for cooking meals.
