Lovely barn, beautiful scenery and a charming host in James. The Barn is well equipped but is very isolated, with a good half an hours drive over fairly rough terrain to get to nearest village, where there is a pub, but no shop or amenities of any kind.

We had a lovely stay at the barn, with loads to do and places to visit. A bonus was being able to let the dogs run, in your enclosed garden. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you, we will return.

Had a wonderful break everything was just great . Our 3 dogs loved both the garden and paddock . Lovely places to visit and enjoy , the local pub did a great Sunday lunch and was dog friendly. Perhaps could be a bit remote for some people but we enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The barn is beautiful and perfectly located for beautiful views, relaxing and countryside walks. The log fire was just what we needed. Great wifi so we managed to get plenty of work done (!) despite being on holiday. Everywhere we went, the people were so friendly. Both local pubs served excellent food and the dog beach was a blast for our dogs. WeRead more loved it and we will be back. Thank you for the respite during difficult times. Hide

A well laid out and appointed cottage for active families with or without dogs and a super peaceful location for anyone wanting complete relaxation. The cottage owner, James, is extremely helpful and if he doesn't know something about the local area he will ask around and find out. So much to discover in the local area - forest walks, cycling, beacRead morehes, local produce, castles - or simply stay in the cottage garden and listen to nothing but the breeze, the birds and the sheep. Superb! Hide

The barn and it's location is simply a little bit of heaven set in a very special location with the Brechfa forest on the doorstep. No need to take the car walks and maps are ready and waiting for you on arrival to walk from the door. There are very few cars and picnics in the forest are delightful. The Barn is very clean and comfortable, in a beautiful location, for those who like peace and quiet, ideal, great for walkers and their dogs. However, I would recommend visitors take a good torch especially if taking dogs, as there is no lighting to the rear of the property for late night garden visits!!
